The kid hacks these users' accounts and then blackmails them to get their YouTube back.
He's in WAY over his head by taking on NCIX, though, as there is a lot of money at stake which he is disrupting.
Linus is a video unboxer who works from NCIX.

Oh ok I've seen his videos before and I still see it as being pointless to hack a account and then blackmail them for it when they can make another one just as easily

 
I view it as pointless, as well.
Unfortunately, not everyone on the Internet has sound thought patterns.

Truly though, although I was a competitor so to speak of Linus', I admire his tech knowledge so it's ridiculous that he seems to have been singled out.
At first I assumed it was just because he's got a larger following, but when NCIX got hacked also it wreaks of something personal.

But he was not singled out, the links have been edited out of this thread due to the content, the guy that did this to Linus also did this to many other members. Just do a search in YouTube for xxxv1roj4nxxx.

It appears that Trubritar's account has been hit up for attempts as well, so he said he's taking his page down temporarily so as to prevent it from happening.  Some1's got a serious hatred for certain PC companies and tech reviewers.  I think this may be the reason lulzsec split up, cuz of jerks like this wanting to do this crap and being part of lulzsec they couldn't.  I'm just stating my opinion on that part, idk the facts yet.
