Did anyone find EVGA extended warranty worth an extra money?

Hello all,
I am new to the EVGA community as well as computer building.  I am planning on building my first system very soon.  The last thing that remains is finding the right graphics card.  I have been searching for about 3 months (right when GPU prices started to sky rocket again from what I hear).  However, I was very pleased to see that EVGA rewards people for being a part of their community I may be crazy, but I always go big when I do anything. So I will be attempting a full custom water cooled build as well.

Couldn't find the right place to post this question too so I thought it might be ok with my introduction.
The only thing I am still debating is get a 1080 ti now at a reasonable price, which it looks like EVGA is the only place that can be had, or wait and see if the rumors are true about the next gen cards possibly coming out at GTC or soon thereafter.

I am looking to play a wide variety of modern titles at 3440x1440 and want to play at ultra settings at 100fps or above.  However, the waiting part is killing me.

Any suggestions?

That would be considered spamming, and is not allowed. You still need to follow the TOS rules. https://forums.evga.com/EVGA-Forums-Terms-of-Use-m4682.aspx

"Spam - Spamming is the repeated posting of messages that are advertisements, abusive, or otherwise unwanted on internet forums. They can be in the form of links to external sites, with the dual goals of increasing search engine visibility in highly competitive areas such as weight loss, pharmaceuticals, gambling, porn, real estate, loans or computer software, and generating more traffic for these commercial websites.  Members who "spam" in this manner will be permanently banned."
