Just started Crunching a few days ago.  I'm new at it.  I joined the Evga crunching team.  So far just trying out the World Community Grid, signed up as Kopius.

Welcome to all you new peeps. If you have any questions feel free to ask. The Lord knows I asked a bunch when I first started out with Boinc. As far as that goes there are a few things I am still working out four months later.

Hey all... Some of you all might have seen my posts over at the F@H forums. I have my main gaming rig here that sits idle while I am at work quite a bit because I built a new machine with a 770 that handles all the points I need for F@H. So since these 570's aren't real good with the F@H thing, I thought I would try using them for crunching.

Currently I am unemployed so I have been spending more time at this computer searching job posting boards and I was hoping there is a way in the BOINC manager to tell which GPU is assigned to which task? There are 2 instances of GPUGrid running, but it's messing with my desktop. I had this problem with F@H and I was able to just change settings for my display card and the other one just crunched on. How do I do that with this system?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Cowboy

Welcome to the crunch Cowboy, and best wishes on your job search!

There was a recent post on how to send project tasks to different GPUs.  Also, here's a link to the many flags available in a BOINC cc_config.xml file.

Hello guys, I just left my old POGS-team SETI.Germany to join
crunching @ EVGA. Thanks again to Orange_1050 who invited
me (at that time SG-member) to your POTM-challenge.
My favorite projects are POGS and WCG. See you in this forum
and the next challenges.
