Don't bother with registry cleaners. Not too reliable and can mess up the registry. I use CCleaner as many on this forum do, and never an issue. Others will weigh in with their opinions. Good luck

Same here CCleaner and I use Wise Registry Cleaner Free never had a problem with either of them. I sure you know, always do a backup of your registry before using any reg cleaner. To tell the truth. I really never notice any difference after a reg cleaning .

Don't use registery cleaner since it will mess your system up. Back in the XP days it deleted some keys that should not suppose to and cause my system to act weird and go downhill till I reinstall windows. CCleaner is the best and also use Auslogics disk defrag.

CCleaner's Registry Cleaner is top notch. However, cleaning your registry should only be done if you believe there is reason to do so. You will see no performance boost by doing so.

If I had to use a registry cleaner I would opt for an Auslogics product.

Good luck There are safe registry cleaner's out there.RegVac is safe and effective and I have been using it for three year's and would not go without it.Never once have I ran into problem's with this software.Even if you have never used this type of software before you cannot go wrong. There is a safe zone for noob's and an expert zone for novice user's.I use it everyday and especially after removing an unwanted program to keep thing's tidy.PM me if you would like to know more or if you would like the to try this program.

I'm using Auslogics registry cleaner right now to test it out rlynn23, but have not had a need for a registry cleaner for years and without issues. Thanks for the suggestion. Perhaps later, I'll try RegVac Edit: On second thought rlynn23, $35.00 is steep for a registry cleaner. I'll stick with CCleaner http://www.pcworld.com/article/187041/regvac_registry_cleaner_disappoints.html

CCleaner - runs automatically on login to deal with cookies, browser history/cache and other options, including registry.
