Just picked up a 2080ti XC Ultra and this is the condition of two of the screws on the top of the backplate.
Also there is no EVGA warranty sticker. The card has a few years warranty remaining. Will the condition of the screws or the lack of warranty sticker cause any problems for me in the future?
Conditon of the two screws:

    Hello,

The stripped screw is typically not a problem unless the screw can absolutely not be removed off the backplate, then yes that will cause problems with your RMA. As for the warranty stickers, we need the warranty stickers to be on the graphics card so that it can be identified and see what remaining warranty is so that will void the warranty. Without the sticker, we don't know what the history of the card is, it could be a graphics card that only shipped with 1 year warranty with no transferable warranty, or it can be a RMA'd card. This is why we need this. You can check the warranty terms here https://www.evga.com/warranty/graphics-cards/

Thanks for the info. Ok I've got you. I think I'm going to head down the route of returning this to the seller if I'm honest as the rear screw does look totalled.

My intention was to cool this card with my x72 AiO. If I were to buy another card, am I correct in saying that my warranty remains valid so long as I keep the warranty sticker with the card? (well it'll be a different EVGA card in this case most likely)

edit: does the entire warranty sticker have to be intact? I would imagine it has been destroyed in the process of removing it but if I ask the seller if he still has it and he can return half of it will that remain valid?

    Thanks

To avoid any issues, it is best that you have the entire sticker intact. There is a single tamper sticker that sits around one of the four spring loaded screws that won't matter if it is removed. That is just for us to know whether or not the graphics card has been taken apart or not.

I'm really sorry, I think I'm being really dense as I've just noticed I don't actually know what all these stickers are called.
I've added a picture to show what I have and what I don't. This isn't my card but a friends XC Ultra I've blurred to hide serial numbers etc.

The green squares are where I have stickers
The red square is where I'm missing a sticker.

Do I have all the required stickers? One of the stickers in the green squares is on the backplate the other on the pcb.

One last question (so sorry) should I make an effort to remove the screw which has been mutilated by the previous owner (the other seems ok but battered) if I keep the card and RMA it. Btw my reason for wanting to RMA the card is  horrendous coil whine (I'm really quite tolerant of it but this is bad especially at the start of rendering)

I've started the process with eBay to return the card in case the I am missing the sticker but moreso on the basis of the quality of the screw heads.

This is a link to the coil whine I am experiencing. This is just on my test bench in my office but it's bad. The mrs commented on it from the kitchen today asking what the noise was and the card was in my gaming rig with the glass off :/

edit: hmm can't attach the link

edit edit: think the compression has dampened the audio but it really is quite bad, also you can hear one of the fans scraping the wires as they start spinning
edit edit edit: uploaded to youtube instead

That looks fine but the screw is still a problem, however I will be sending you an email as your case will be better handled via email.
