installing a full waterblock on a Evga XC3 3090 Hybrid ?

Does anybody know if the hybrid water/fan can be removed and a full waterblock installed on the XC3 3090 Hybrid ?

    My friend did that once. Just make sure the layout is the same.

    The PCB of the hybrid and non-hybrid sku for XC3 is identical.

    From my own experience, I was able to take apart my evga 980 ti hybrid and slap an EK block on it.

    Could remove your cooler to check the PCB is the same.
    Make sure they havnt upgraded anything thats going to interfere with the block.

    It does look possible.    I went to the EK Waterblock configurator and they identify the same EK waterblock for both the XC3 Hybrid and the XC3 fan configuration.    So, the layout and PCB should be the same.
