I am wondering if a gtx 480 can output 4k resolution? I just bought a Samsung 8550 and I don't see the option higher than 1080. I'm using 344.11 drivers. I'm also running new 1.4 hdmi cable.
Any suggestions?

Yes but it does support 2560 x 1600. But it doesn't give me that option. Only 1920x1080 is the highest.

Try setting the resolution inside the nvidia control panel instead of right clicking on the desktop to change it.

I tried that already. I'm wondering if my drivers are old and just don't support it. I tried both ports as well.

    I'm stuck

Looks like your TV doesn't support 2560x1600. The next highest res after 1080p would be 4k on your TV. Latest driver is 344.75.

    I manually imputed 2560 x 1600 and it works.
