Just paid 900$ a year or two ago and what a good card but I don't believe the CRAP moments I have with their monitoring app. It's simply horrible.  THE PROFILES DON'T SAVE WHEN REBOOTING, IT'S LIKE NO PROFILES EXIST AND LIKE IT'S NOT ENOUGH BUGS , THE FAN SETS TO MANUAL AND TO ZERO.

I don't know guys of EVGA ... the you did to produce such crap . It's awful . Right click saves , left click changes the profile but when rebooting , all profiles are wiped out.  A real scrap. I almost burned my card because EVGA . Don't buy a product for which you have no good monitoring applications , don't buy EVGA .

900$ for a card unable to start it's fans on windows startup even if I have saved profiles and checked to apply the last profile on each start . I must turn it on each time like my christmas tree. Hey .... really guys , I didn't like it when I first used it but now , I'm bloody angry.  I'a a serious producer and now I can't work securely because of EVGA . It's not supposed to be complicated ... if Precision XOC was made by trisomics .. to just do a simple app for fans monitoring , for people that doesn't want their card to be burned by the company that sells them.

First, vulgar language is not allowed. Your post has been edited.

Next, so am going to move this post to the software section because this is about the software.

Last, which gpu and what version are you using?

Precision XOC has a bad habit (bug) of not saving changes to settings unless you close Precision XOC after making and applying changes, otherwise, the changes won't get written/saved to the .cfg files.

After making and applying any changes whatsoever, including fan curves, close Precision and open it again and make sure your changes remain.

If you make and apply a change to an existing profile, right-click it to delete that profile and then right-click it again to recreate it.

If you make changes in HWM, close HWM before closing Precision.

The main thing is to close Precision after making/applying any changes..Click OK where applicable..Then it should work (reasonably) fine.

I would not set a 2D and/or 3D profile in the Profile tab of the settings because that can cause Precision to unexpectedly close and lock the fan control, consequently leading to possibly overheating the card..Leave those set to 'Not assigned'.

You can use MSI Afterburner instead of Precision, but only GPU fan control will be available on cards with iCX cooling.

You can also set a manual/fixed fan speed and close Precision (or Afterburner) and the fixed fan speed will remain.

The OP is right. The software is terrible.
That's a pity, as I am a lifetime customer of eVGA and love their cards.

    My issues:
Server restarts itself after being closed, even with OSD off.
    Changes not always saving.
Setting a 2d and 3d profile causes XOC to constantly switch back and forth when any program uses 3D accell - which is almost everything, inc Windows desktop manager.
GPU fans are 0 RPM UNLESS I run XOC.

6.1.16 works well for me in Windows 10 and a z370  ( that is a older version )
G19 keyboard fonts too small to read is my only small problem but task bar readings of data is ok.
