Did anyone tried or maybe know if EVGA Z690 Dark KingPin will support the new Intel 14900K? Thanks.

    Did you try to read any of the several threads that already exist? Also, I believe a z690 Dark question should be in the z690 section...
     
    Short answer is it'll run, but it's not "supported" and they've indicated no plan to release a new BIOS for any motherboard for any reason. The support team has requested it internally...but there's no information on if/when that may happen. Also, by "it'll run", it can boot and operate, but the microcode is wrong, V/F points are not set up properly, and we have no idea what else won't work properly.

Just to clarify, re-reading my post sounds quite snarky, which wasn't intended, but many people have been asking EVGA for a BIOS update for months and we haven't heard any indication that they plan to provide on. There are many threads, so if you want to know more or what settings people have tried with the 14900k's they bought anticipating support from EVGA and trying to run them even though there isn't, there are threads for that too.

    Your answer is pretty much on point. To be honest, exactly what i was expecting. I will check for more threads on the forum for sure. And i know i probably posted it in the wrong section lol. Using the forums only when i get the new parts lol.
