I'm trying to install the latest version of v7 but the files keep failing to install, it's giving me some BS about files being in use by another program. I can't find or figure out what it's talking about, I've even rebooted to make sure nothing was using any F@H files.

That is odd. Would you be able to list what files it says are in use? Also, would ou be able to post a screenshot of the Task Manager Processes? I've seen things keep running in the background, but I agree the reboot 'should' have corrected that.

I got it installed now It was either Core Temp, Steam or Precision x that was the cause After closing them I was able to finish installing v7 7.2.9 and even picked up some 8057s

rjbelans OK. Fold On! I'm doing over 247k just on my GPUs Would be more if my 470's PPD didn't get cut in half when folding along side my 570s

Then you ask why people would use the console client. lol Downgrade the core to v2.22 on the 460 & you will get the PPD you should, oh wait you Can't your running that stupid V7. Another reason to run the console, different folder for each client so your allowed to have different cores running.

My point was, why your not getting the PPD you should from the 460.

But with the console I have a folder for each video card and am able to run core v.2.25 on one card while I'm able to run v2.22 on the other. I don't think that is possible with the V7 client so its either core v2.25 or v2.22 on both. If nothing else try manually setting the client for each vcard to its own CPU core to see if it helps. Task manger/select the core and set affinity's to a single CPU core for each FaH core running.

If you open up Task Manager you'll see FahCore_15.exe, assigning one to a core will assign them all to the same core And like I said before it doesn't matter with client you're using or which core, mixing a 400 with a 500 will always result in the 400's PPD being lower
