So I just got this board new from a buddy. I have a 4690K and 16Gb 1600Mhz Gskill Sniper RAM. When I install Windows 10 Pro on the SSD or upgrade my W8.1H to W10, the OS is very unstable. I can click on a program and the system will kind of pause for up to 25 seconds on average. Then after the pause the program does whatever I wanted it to do and then the system seems to be fine for about 5 mins and then it pauses again. Not I have done a round robin in hardware and have tried my 4690K, RAM and SSD and even the 970 I have in another system and no issues on Windows 10 at all. Is anyone able to shed any light on this?

When you install W8.1 on it, does it have these issues?
Do you get any error messages?
Have you checked the event viewer, there may be something there that can shed some light on the situation.

8.1 has no issues. It's the OS I have to use in order to be able to use the PC.
    No error messages at all
Even viewer brings up a lot of hardware errors but never clarifies on what the actual hardware is.

I'm creating a media USB again and going to try. If it starts this again I'll find a way to export the Event Viewer with all the issues.
