The Dark appears to have 3 slot SLI spacing, is this correct? I have two 1080ti hydrocoppers, want to make sure I get the correct bridge. It looks like EVGA never made a 3 slot HB bridge, does the Nvidia one work on these cards?

Looks like you need a 60mm bridge. Yes, the nvidia bridge will work. EVGA did make a 60mm bridge it was called a 1 slot bridge ( 100-2w-0026-LR).

Thanks for the confirmation guys. I figured out the difference between EVGA and Nvidia nomenclature after bcavnaugh's original post, thanks for the pic update though . I finally found the EVGA one after more extensive searching, but don't have the patience to try to find one. I went ahead and purchased the MSI 60mm one, which should work. Now we just need them to get this sweet mobo ready to ship :)

That picture should be pinned, or put on the first post of the thread announcing the Z390 boards. Thx for posting it!

The answer has been given a million times and the spacing is even shown directly on the page for the bridges, yet people still ask lol. Pinning it wouldn’t change that unfortunately. No matter what is pinned or answered, people must think the board spacing changes for them.. In reality, people don’t look for the answer when it is clearly given to them.

I agree, Too many people asks questions before they do their own research and people should be researching what it is they are buying and how it all works together. That Picture I have now posted 3 Times on this Forum in Three Different Threads asking the same Question. I am not saying do not ask question on items or products that you do not understand or need advise on only that most of what it being asked today is posted all over the Internet and simple Google Search will provide a wealth of information. There are a lot of people who ask questions only because they are to lazy to look it up themselves. I bet you could find over 30 Threads Alone Asking this very same SLI Question. The Slot Spacing has not changed since was introduce and until Motherboard Manufactures Change the Spacing Between Slots this is not going to change. This is even the same on the older EISA & ISA and PCI they all have the same Spacing.

is there any reason to use the upper two slots vs the lower two slots? I am assuming the bottom two are two slot spacing? reason I ask is that I have two video cards with a koolance adjustable link that will accomodate 2-3 slot spacing. I'd like to use the bottom two unless there is a reason to use the top two sli.

@ Deliriousx16 over x4 and the use of Shared Slots You do need at least x8 for SLI also no SLI Bridge Support at lest on the RTX Platform. And what he said Below

The bottom slot is wired for x4 and sli requires x8 at a minimum. The top two are wired for x8 each when two cards are used.

thanks guys. been out of the mix for a while. coming from a z77, since 2012. Thanks for lending me the knowledge. top two it is. I've got one of those old ribbon type bridges that will work for the 3 slot spacing.

Which GPUs will you be using? I know we are kind of taking this off course from the original owner of this thread, but I think we can clarify multiple things in one thread, since the OP’s answer was already obtained.
