Many others and I have been experiencing the volume wheel issue with the z15 keyboard. When you slightly adjust the volume wheel up or down, the volume on windows will go all the way up to 100% or 0% depending on which way you adjusted. It is definitely a firmware issue as people fixed it by rolling their firmware back to 1.30 or earlier.

Indeed, I wish EVGA would fix this issue. It's clearly not a keyboard defect since it happened the instant everybody upgraded to the latest firmware. In my case, I didn't even want to upgrade - I just opened Unleash in order to setup a couple of macros and it forced an update. >:(

As a stop-gap measure, I rebound my keys in the EVGA Unleash software. Scroll wheel no longer does anything, media rewind/forward keys are what control volume now (no media players recognized those keys anyway).

    How is this done?
I haven't been able to find any info on how to roll back the firmware, or even where to obtain an older copy of the firmware.

Ugh, just had my first experience with this volume wheel issue. Was listening to music with headphones on and tried to increase the volume slightly, only for it to go all the way up to 100 and blow my ears out. Was not happy at all, ended up putting the Z15 back in its box and going back to my old DasKeyboard.

I really hope EVGA can sort out this issue because I really like the keyboard otherwise.

They updated the firmware and fixed the bug, just update to the most current one and it should be gone.
