    I have a small problem with the motherboard, I can not be stable> 4.6GHz.
    My CPU must take 50x100 without any problem as all the other motherboard tested (R4E, R4F, Xpower2, ...)
    I have news from EVGA and we search to work on this issue :)

    Just like me always rebooting unable to get stable.
    ggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr 439 box for unstable board .
     
    Hope is a bios issue.

    yep, glad I waited.  Let me know when the bugs are out of this board. then I'll buy one. Pays not to be the early adopter this time. But then again. I remember the issues the x58 had when I was and early adopter on that board. I went thru  2 boards before figuring out a solution to the problem.  Tell me, What your cooling method, and what temps are you getting on the system before it reboots on you?

    the temps are very good like 60 in full load then the board shut down. I think is a bios issue

    I still have problems because impossible to bench under watercooling > 4.6GHz
    With my others motherboard, no problem to bench 5/5.1GHz 3D11/Vantage
     
    My last tests : boot 40x125MHz + SuperPI 1Mo
    3DMark reboot during test Physics...
     

     
    And the max for 3D11 is 4.5/4.6GHz

    Wow sorry to hear that you are not getting a very good OC. That is A LOT of voltage running through that chip to not be stable at 4.5. My 3930k is LinX stable @ 1.325V for 4.5Ghz. But I have an ASUS Rampage IV Extreme.

    So it really is the BIOS then. I was worried that the BIOS of this board was not going to be good right away, and after reading others comments and of course your results I am glad I went with the R4E instead. I'm sure they will fine tune the BIOS sooner or later. I hope your OC gets better with different BIOSes going forward. Good luck

    Damn it s not working, i try all of your setting ans it s not stable .
    Windows just reboot on stress, and i cannot overclock the memory 
    because when i save bios the digit led write FC or FF
    any idea

    I'm having a ton of trouble with my X79 FTW as well, so don't feel bad.. if I don't figure this out in a few days I'm sending this back and jumping to the REIV platform.
     
    $379 for a motherboard that isn't stable is a bit well not good..

    Have you set your "CPU Current Capability" (i dont know how is named in the EVGA UEFI BIOS) to 130% ?
    I have reboots too with my UD7 if i don't set it to that value (on Gigabyte now is 124%)..
    Maybe his CPU is more lucky thank yours.. I'm not sure that you will be stable with his settings..

    With witch cooling ?
    For memory, impossible to use my Gskill kit @2133MHz. Impossible to boot with memory > 1866.
    I spoke yesterday with Kingpin and he said that a new bios coming ...

    There is no ption like that in that bios.
    I thinks it s a PWM problem,because when they come to hot i read on the net it make reboot the computer.and it s a little bit logical because on my evga x79 sli there is no pwm and i can overclock like 5 ghz. then for sure there is probleme maybe they can fix that whit the bios. i hope so because it s a 439 dollard board.

    Then i l do it . i ask for refund and buy the Rampage IV formula.
    To much problem with the board tired try to fix it ,Reboot ,Stability,
    everything. Sorry evga i still keep my video card 570 HD SC
    But next time before let stuff go on a market please test it before.
