I would like to buy the X20 as well but was thinking of getting the X17 since its out of stock. Can anyone tell me what the differences are?

Idk how soon, but they are just simple pherifials, they should be in stock much more often than gpus, that's for sure.

I spoke to customer service today on the phone. They confirmed with the sales department that the X20 is not released yet, and might be released in 1-2 months time from now.. it "may" be sooner is what I was told but there is no "set date".

That's the X17, this thread is about the X20. X20 is not released yet by EVGA.
For $29.99 the X17 is worth it even if people are wanting the X20. Of course that depends on how badly you need a new mouse in the first place and if a wired would work. One thing the X17 has that the X20 doesn't have is the 8000hz polling rate. Probably because it would kill battery life the wireless version lacks that feature. It's the biggest difference and might not really mean that much as going above 1000hz can cause issues in some games but in the future shouldn't be much of an issue as a number of brands of mice go above 1000hz.
