Leave your thoughts and ideas in this thread so EVGA can see what we [the constumers] want. I would personally love to see: - A minimalistic, simple and elegant design like the current GTX780/TITAN block. Smaller or no sticker prefered.
- Single slot display output like the GTX 480/580 HC(2).
- Redesigned PCB and/or better powerdelivery components. I'm not talking about beef'd Classified PCB... just something better than reference.
I know some people here would LOVE to see EK manufactured waterblocks on EVGA cards rather than Swiftech. Anyways, leave your thoughts and ideas for the next EVGA Hydro Copper design in this thread!

I have not ever purchased the HC versions but a single slot design is a no brainer... I'd be furious if a single slot card took up 2 slots!! If I ever watercool my gpu's (which I have contemplated) i wouldn't buy a card that takes up 2 slots.

I cannot and will not make any promises here, BUT, the requests are definitely reasonable, and I will make sure Jacob sees this thread. As a water guy myself, I would love to see a single slot design again.

Thank you Dave. I think having a complete single slot design will give EVGA the edge over regular watercooled graphics cards.

Single slot design like the 480/580 comes mostly down to Nvidia, not EVGA, Swiftech or us. Besides for the dual PCB GPUs, I believe all of our water blocks are single slot design if they're used with a single slot designed GPU. Personally I love single slot cards like the 580s, Maltas etc and I hope to see more of them in the future. To be clear, any and all water blocks we develop will be a single slot design, it's just reliant on AMD/Nvidia to make a single slot designed PCB.

Yeah, Derick is correct, I suppose we *can* but that's a substantial cost to redesign. I really do hope that NVidia will go back to a single slot PCB.

better vrm cooling http://www.xtremerigs.net/2013/10/03/nvidia-gtx780titan-water-block-roundup/2/ not doin so hot(or cool) in the vrm and vram cooling section here boys, time to step it up. this is a sad looking water channel imo the block itself isnt looking any happier On top of it being the most expensive block =\ a lot of overclockers are refusing to use these blocks because of the poor cooling they offer to the vrms and vrams, i know i switched to EK from the hydro copper when we got 1.3v+ unlocked on titans. posting this because i noticed most suggestions were cosmetic fixes. edit in - yeah.

Is that really the Swiftech Hydro Copper waterclock? Wow, it looks even cheaper than Alphacool's new value blocks... http://forums.evga.com/tm.aspx?m=2061224 I agree that better VRM cooling is the LEAST that can be done by Swiftech & EVGA. I thought such things were obligated.

yeah it really seems they cheaped out on the block, but then end up charging us more somehow ![](https://forums.evga.com/upfiles/smiley/confused1.gif) mill out some plastic, throw a plate of copper in there, call it a day? come on swiftech.

What szeged said x1000. Poor excuse for a wb in my opinion. Swiftech is fine. After the whole Ek nickel plating incident I'd like to stay away from them. If the hydro copper is going to cost more then make it cool more. Plain and simple.
