Although her death, like any other, is sad and unfortunate I don't have any sympathy for those that take drugs and drink heavily. Although like RJohnson11 said, I'm interested to see what the cause of death actually was.

Clearly she didn't watch South Park "drugs are bad mmkay" - that one line could have saved her life :-O

I read she died from drowning in hotel bathtub. The only way i see that happening is mixing drugs with alcohol and causing you to pass out.

If this is true it wouldn't surprise me. From what I've been reading she was not only into Drugs but, also pill popping and drinking so this has some weight to it... 
 
I just don't get people like her and Micheal Jackson.. They have the world by the coat tales and flush their lives away on drugs and Alcohol... Some say oh well being rich and famous gets to people they become depressed yada yada... Shoot if they want to be depressed I'll show them my monthly budget..  That will cause them to depressed for sure..

Apparently the coroners report stated that she died from drugs and not from drowning.
 
A few anecdotes:
 
  • Coroner tells family not enough water was in singer's lungs to conclude she drowned
  • She had already died before her head went under the water
  • Award-winning star was on 'brink of bankruptcy' having 'fritted away pop fortune on Drugs'

Stay in the TOS. Please do not discuss illegal drugs... I edited them out. And replaced them with drugs.
 
Pain in the butt I know. While this is a sad situation we still need to follow the TOS as this is a family site. And those to young to know what those drugs are need not find the info here

The Official Corners report is not out... You are reading or hearing about a preliminary report and gossip (Welcome to Hollywood). CSI on TV is not real life. Official causes of Death take a few days to a few weeks if further testing is not needed...
