Where are the OpenCL Benchmarks?

I keep seeing more and more videos, but nothing I can download and check my FPS.

Can we get these to try out?
http://www.geeks3d.com/20...test-news-2/#more-6148

Both Nvidia and ATI can now run OpenCL on the latest drivers correct?

We need a benchmark bad.

I still hold the hopes that OpenCL will use all 3 of my GPU's.

CUDA can, but has yet to produce an app that will use my 295 and 280 at the same time...
Or if an app/benchmark was made that will do so, I have never found it.

    Yes.

I found sandra-light (Last updated: November 27, 2009), and installed it. It has that it can test OpenCL, but I can't find the OpenCL performance number.

    Updated Modules (6)

    * GPGPU Processing: Support for OpenCL (ATI, nVidia) for both GPUs and CPUs, DirectX 11 Compute Shader/DirectCompute.
    * GPGPU Bandwidth: Support for OpenCL (ATI, nVidia) for both GPUs and CPUs, DirectX 11 Compute Shader/DirectCompute.
    * Video Rendering: Support for DirectX 11/SM5.0 and OpenGL 2.0 and later.
    * Video Memory: Support for DirectX 11/SM5.0 and OpenGL 2.0 and later.
    * CPU Multi-Media Performance: Support for Intel AVX instruction set.
    * Cryptographic Performance: Support for Intel AES instruction set.

the only legit opencl cards are nvidia 8000 and up cards and 5000 series from ATi. the rest are screwed. i have some ocl demos from nv. maybe you can check out gpu accelerated bullet physics in blender3d and gpu3 will be ocl too. currently there is not much.

    @talonman
multigpu has to be done by the programmerin cuda or ocl unlike games where it is through drivers.

    Thanks for the info.

I did check out Blender3D on youtube:
    http://www.youtube.com/wa...eature=player_embedded

    Not bad...

But I am really after a benchmark type of program, and one that would actually use my 3 GPU's all at the same time would make me extatic!!

You would think we would have one by now?

I did check out that Sandra Light program in post #3.

    System was at:
    Q6600@ 3.81GHz
    (1) 295@ 621/1512/1152
    (1) 280@ 657/1512/1188

1/2 of my 295 in the OpenCL Test:

My 280 in the OpenCL test:

My 295 in the CUDA test, and this one supports SLI.

My 280 in the CUDA test:

Again, only 1/2 of my 295 in the Compute Shader Test:

And my 280 in the Compute Shader Test:

    My questions are:
Why when on the CUDA test, does it look like I have more than (1) 295 in my system?

Why does a 5870 do so well in the CUDA tests?

    And one comment...
We need the 'Use All GPU's in my System' button.

I think a more accurate System Performance number would be generated for me if both sides of my Graphics processor, and my Dedicated PhysX GPU were all in on the deal.

Who wants to look at what 1 or 2 Cores of your 3 Core CPU can do?
I want all 3 of my GPU's crunching numbers on the same problem.

(BTW, I do know them 3 Core CPU's are rare!)

"CUDA" test might be really "CUDA or Stream" if I had to guess.  That's what the numbers looks like to me.  These look like raw throughput numbers and not really what an application targeting CUDA or Stream could achieve .... not unless that program is just a filter that is.

    Thanks for the post.

I bet it is Stream results.
