I speak English and decent Italian. I've been wanting to pick up Assassin's Creed 2 for the longest time because it takes place in Italy, but it rarely goes on sale on Steam, lol. I've always thought Russian would be cool to learn as well.

I speak English and Spanish. I know enough French and German to get by without needing a pocket dictionary when I spend time visiting friends overseas.

Hiya, Glad someone started this thread, rather than me starting another one, I am in need of a translation - possibly Cantonese or Mandarin - found the below item in a house clearance and fell in love with it, origin is suspected to be Hong Kong circa 1970's. Can any one translate the words for me I can hazard a guess from the visuals but would like to know what it actually says. And in answer to the original OP - English (read/write), German (basic read only) Many thanks in advance. Chronicle :)

Only the context and some choice of vocabulary distinguish one dialect from another in writing. This looks like a transcription of taiwanese dialect actually and means I don't want to play bull. Meaning I do not want to get angry and act like a furious bull.

And some Spanish, thanks to school.
I also know some survival Chinese. The only phrase that I can think of off the top of my head is how to ask for subtitles.

Anime only keeps it up so much Yeah I tried to learn Japanese and got as far as the Kanji lesson and I couldnt tell the difference between most of the symbols. As you know they rarely use the roman alphabet in Japan so i'm out of luck.
