As some of you already know, peoples are using graphic cards to mining ethereum (a cryptocurrency) and thats also why they take every available card, they actually invest to bought more card and make more ethereum again and again and again ... but now the value of ethereum is as low as a car pimped by xzibit ... and that why we see some used series30 slowly appear, they are quitting the boat before it sink and try to make the most they can. Sooo if you can wait a couple day, i think we going to see some good deal by people who are afraid to being stuck with the card they overpaid, i actually need one too but i wait and try to help the market a little .. aniways maybe i’m allll wrong but i think that can be helpful to know that 🤷‍♂️ (I’m french, sorry if my english is not that good)

Miners and scalpers are generally responsible right now in taking a large heap of GPU inventory away from gamers.

Yes but they are too much mining the same product so the value of ethereum just not worth it anymore look on the facebook marketplace, they already try to sell quick before everyone do the same and the price drop

The value of ethereum just drop everyday since they are just too many so now people try to sell like 200$ or 300$ under the actual market to sell quick and make more money but in two or three days the market for used card gonna be insane if that continue

What are you talking about?  Have you looked at the value of ETH?  It's value is at an all-time high.  Have you looked at the mining profitability?  It is very profitable.

Bitcoin has dropped 12% in an hour.  Has it started to happen?  Have you somehow forecast the bubble bursting?  That would be exciting.

All the information you provided was very wrong or misleading (like, you think a $330 video card selling for $1100 is an indicator of video cards becoming cheaper?!), so I have a hard time accepting a non-explanation about your suspicion.

Ironically, in the short-term, big fluctuations create a big jump in mining profitability, since a large amount of buys or sells create a lot of cryptocurrency network load and bigger transaction fees paid to miners. It's only long-term value slumps which negatively affect mining.

Because of this upset, mining profitability is up something like 30% right now in the short-term.

Sorry but i’m not good enought in english to explain, i mean i can but thats gonna take me like two hours and at the end thats not really important ... i didn’t post this because i wanted to prove anything, maybe i’m wrong and i can totally live with that, it was more in a "hey we can help each other's" type of way and to give people's more option but if they want to check the used market or no it’s totally their choice at the end of the day

Edit: i see more gpu being available but the price is still pure **** and i see some (small) place starting to refuse crypto as a paiement 🤞

I like the optimism, but Ethereum mining isn't going away until they switch to Proof-of-Stake.
Then the question will be how other Proof-of-Work coins are doing.

Mining profitability is still raging strong at approximately 30% higher mining profitability, starting from a couple of days ago. I wonder what is going on.  I wonder if big mining groups have realized that if they move a small amount of currency around through a very large number of accounts, it creates a lot of network load and increases their mining profitability dramatically.  It almost seems as if some manipulation is taking place.  Since it isn't regulated, manipulation is bound to happen.  If this isn't a result of manipulation, I wonder what else could explain the big jump in network fees and mining profitability.

Very few accepted it in the first place.  It hasn't yet been very useful as a currency.  It is primarily used as a speculative investment.
