What does it mean when an item is on b-stock, besides being of great value. Were these returned products? Open boxes? I'm thinking about getting a gtx460, with 10% for folding. That would be a killer deal, but I need to take into consideration the possible condition of the product. Are B-stock items covered under warranty? "

Thanks!

    GTX460 if you buy new:
-comes with a 2 year warranty if product number ends TR
-lifetime warranty if product number ends AR
    -it´s brand new
    -costs more
-comes with all accesories and in a shiny cute Box

    GTX460 from BStock:
-comes with just 90 days warranty
-it´s refurbished (let´s call it, semi new)
    -costs less
-comes without any accesory and in a white ugly Box

not a good deal when buying a current gen of cards, you only got 90-day warranty even if you save a little amount of cash.  better go for brand new one for current gen of cards.  on the other  hand, good deals  for b-stock for EOL products, that will give you savings plus a 90-day warranty from evga.

    did he changed his Avatar??
or is still the same. cuz i don't see nothing worng with the one he has right now.
if you'r planning on buying a current gen graphics card i recommend getting a new one. if it's an old generation you can get a B-stock product and save some bucks.
i got a 780i b-stock and it was working really good until i sold it here on the forums.
has been working pretty good for the new owner.

Bstock items sometimes go on sale as well, I got a 750i SLI Board for $26 from it when the normal price is $50

IMHO, it means they've got too much stock on items slated for RMAs. When they start slashing b-stock pricing that tells me they'd probably just as soon dumpster it soon as excess.

I would go with the brand new GTX460.
    New GTX460 $149.99 after $20 rebate (2yr warranty)
    B-Stock GTX460 $149  (90day warranty)

Do you want a 2yr warranty or 90day and save $15?

B stock usualy beats E Bay, Why would you buy http://cgi.ebay.com/EVGA-E758-A1-3-Way-SLI-LGA-Intel-X58-ATX-Motherboard_W0QQitemZ230541523518QQcategoryZ1244QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp5197.m7QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D4%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D4754056424181040274
With No warranty, ( E-BaY ) when for $80 less you get a 90 day warranty, from b stock, and a trusted seller EVGA. but some people will do it anyway, and usualy latter post here upset.

I've bought a couple B stock items. The last was my X58 motherboard. It came with the backplate but no other accessories. It has been running 24/7 since I got it without a problem. I used my 10% folders discount and some EVGA bucks. It ended up costing me about $50.00 out of pocket. For that price I am not too worried about the warranty.
But as others above have said, if the B stock price is close to the retail price, I'd go with retail to get the better warranty. Just my personal opinion.

So the mobos do come with I/O shields?  That is really the only thing holding me back froma Bstock 750i.

I got my mobo from b-stock and it's been working great for me, i have complete confidence in anything i might get from b-stock in the future. However, what you're looking at, the lack of a lengthy warranty isn't worth the small price reduction for a used card. I bought my mobo for 120, like over $100 difference from when it was first released, in your case you should just get the new 460.
