Gratz! It's a great feeling to finally be mortgage free. Ironically, watch your credit rating drop like 50 points after paying off the mortgage account. It comes back up slowly over about 6 months.

Gratz! It's a great feeling to finally be mortgage free. Ironically, watch your credit rating drop like 50 points after paying off the mortgage account. It comes back up slowly over about 6 months.
Thank you, yeah its a good feeling for sure. But I'm still renting the house I own from the government (land/school taxes) But at least this year I will get the enhanced star rebate check. Save a bit more on my school tax bill. And what did I buy today. An electric head shaver for us bald guys. A Logitech wireless keyboard with a touch pad and a small torque wrench that can do inch pounds. And I ordered a 4 inch paring knife, Japanese AUS10 Damascus steel blade, rosewood handle.

Bought one 2ft by 4ft and two 2ft by2ft LCD light fixtures to replace some old fluorescent light fixtures. Dimmable and the light color can be changed from daylight to cool white.
Like the way the whole panel glows.
