The EU have a new law now that anything imported even if declared at 0 value gets a customs charge which I think is a minimum of 15 Euros, at least in Belgium.

And the problem wasn't just the tax, but that the logistics service provider apparently is allowed to take ~20€ for their service of collecting said tax. This pretty much kills ordering (or just receiving) anything of less than 200€ value abroad, since the few bucks saved by doing so wouldn't be worth the risk and potential (warranty) problems. And for that reason you don't want to order higher priced stuff anyway. I get that this is mainly targeted against ordering stuff directly from China, but it ruined so much more for the normal people (that for e.g. can't afford to buy a GPU at 2-3 times the MSRP...).
