Great brand. Wrangler, Levis, Replay, Diesel that's brands I like most and I could afford.
Diesel increase price of products last years and enter in class of Stone Island on discounts but not belong there.
Only Wrangler at the moment is not available in my region but I would not complain to look for jeans there or Lee Cooper.

I saw Diesel wallet, price 240$.
But I know price will be 120$... it's not Gucci Made in Italy, but it's excellent fold zip wallet.
One is from denim and other is from leather.

Diesel always had excellent Belts, Wallets, etc... I don't have, I keep money and documents in pocket, but price is to high now, I wait discount 50%.

Do you like him? I am on edge to order him. But I see others with same price before now on discounts 50%.
This is Man wallet, 19x10cm and its best for some Diesel denim Shoulder bag.

Nice looking, but it's kind of long. I used to have one like that (not Diesel though) but I found it too long and bulky and stopped using it.

My wife got me a Burberry wallet similar to this one which I really like and is more convenient to use, but cost quite a bit.. (made in Italy, leather).

Pair of headphones for my daughter - highly recommend these for kids, durable and very low cost (replacing broken ones caused by someone's baby chewing through the wire lol).

Ikea 2x2 cube unit with door inserts for home office as a printer & scanner stand. If the quality is reasonably good, will be buying a much bigger 4x3 cube unit for our daughter's room.

Some leather repair patch to patch a tear in our couch. This stuff worked really well.

Glad I ordered just a small unit to start with.. the shipping box was delivered damaged and I could see the scratched wood of part of the unit through the big tear in the cardboard box - no protective packaging whatsoever between the wood and the outside box! Also a small package of 5 drawer/cabinet catches was OPEN and 3 were missing - and they would have been put in the shipping box that way! I am not happy. Emailed IKEA advising I expect damaged parts and missing parts to be replaced immediately (I don't want these boxes sitting here for weeks waiting) or I reverse the credit card charge. YES I took photos. I haven't even attempted to open anything else or assemble what is there until they replace what is damaged and missing. The approx $700 order I planned to make will be dependent on how they handle this, as it was presumably the shipper's fault for the damage, but the failure to put any protective packaging and the missing parts is totally on Ikea. Just capped off what was already a very crappy day. Grrrrr....

..first time I've ordered from Ikea btw.. not a good start.

On topic, what we ordered today was a few hundred $ of groceries from Fresh Direct.

Today I was in IKEA I ate 4 hot-dogs.
I want to say that I had luck of all of these things. I didn't had different and now to spent money in IKEA because I like their stuff.
I didn't had or I had in very bad shape and IKEA is pretty affordable and have everything on one place.
IKEA profit and popularity is because they had everything on one place, good designers and popular prices.

Re:What did you buy today? 2020/02/26 23:29:35 (permalink)
IKEA is pretty good quality.
Private manufacturer capable to build better quality are much much
more expensive and today it's very hard to find companies who produce everything from real wood.

Kitchens example from real wood are over 5000 as start, and go up to 10.000-100.000$ or more depend of size, wood type, etc.
But wood is much healiter material then IKEA and other similar companies use for their furniture.
.
Priority is on solid but light wooden furnitute.
No one want 200kg closet from nut or oak produced before 200 years not capable to uninstall and reinstall again.
