Hi,

Can someone explain to me what the 3 stickers mean on the back of my 1070ti please?
I understand the one on the right is the Serial Number and EAN / Part No sticker which is required for RMA etc.
But what are the other 2 on the left? And can they be removed without consequence?

Cheers

Your attachment is not working for me.  Attachments on this forum, in general, are very problematic.  I would recommend using techpowerup.org since you can upload your images there for free without needing an account and without subjecting anyone to annoying advertisements.  It's very simple.

But back to your question.  I would recommend not removing any stickers.  Why remove them in the first place?  You know that some are required; and if you keep some, why not keep them all?  Before removing stickers, I would recommend asking EVGA directly.  https://www.evga.com/about/contactus/

EDIT:  Figured out a trick to see your attachment.

If it were me, I would not remove those stickers.  Primarily, I simply do not see the point.  If you think that they are ugly, buy and install a backplate to cover them and the entire rest of the ugly mess.

Bios sticker shows the approved evga bios number. The other sticker looks to be a quality control sticker where it was verified before leaving the factory that the card was fully functional.

What trick? Every attached photo I have been able to see since I started using EVGA forum that had been attached properly.

mtbbtc, you need to take that attached photo down and replace with one that has the serial number unreadable because I 100% see it.

Hmm.

EVGA forum attachments rarely appear for me.

The trick, this time at least, was to click where the attachment would be, and then it opened properly as a pop-up.

I don't know.  I assumed that everyone experiences the same problem and that is why many recommend uploading attachments to third-party sites.  I have recommended techpowerup.org for a long time for this very reason.  Plus, techpowerup.org is so much better than all the third-party sites everyone else uploads incorrectly to which cause us grief seeing itty-bitty thumbnails instead of the full image or a broken image which takes you to a bunch of advertisements.

Have you ever used the (Open Full Version) next to Quick Reply? That's how I get EVGA attached photos placed within my posts and as big as the forum will allow.

Yes, I do sometimes.  But that doesn't fix it when someone else's attachment doesn't work.

Wow, than something is blocking them?

Yes and when Mods use their Phones they Delete Threads with only Image because they cannot see them and think it is a blank post.
It is a Mobile View Thing being the Reader Not the Poster. The Real Trick is to use a Full Browser from a Desktop.

Attachment Images are also on EVGA's Forum Server and are Not 3rd Party Images.
But also Attachment Images are a problem of the Forum all the time and they come a go at will.

Be careful about talking about serial numbers on the Forum, their are members that will attack for saying this.

Re: What are these stickers? 2018/11/23 08:54:00 (permalink)
I only know of one mod that uses their phone for the forums, and he doesn’t tend to delete posts because a picture isn’t showing properly.

It is best the remove serial numbers from pictures, but it isn’t the end of the world if they get posted by the user.

The OP’s question has been answered. Like Tyger stared, I wouldn’t remove the stickers personally as they would be used as verification that everything was checked before being shipped, but I also doubt removing them would cause any issues as long as the part number and the serial number are still attached properly.
