What are the max temps on a 3090?

Hey there. I wanna set up a nice fan curve for my 3090 ftw3 ultra gaming. What are the max temps on the gpu, power, and ram? Thanks. Gonna be mining ethereum when I’m not gaming too so I want the memory to stay cool but be as quiet as I can reasonably expect

    The cooler the better since it will boost higher and use less power when it runs cooler.
    But clocks start throttling at 30C 10mhz for every 5C.
    Then at the tempture target slider it will drop as much clocks and power is needed to stop card going over that.
    Vram will throttle at 110C.

    "Quiet" is not going to happen with a 3090 if you want to mine on it and not hurt the card.
     
    What little testing I did with Ethereum mining saw my vRAM hitting 82-84C Junction Temp, and that's with some pretty "overkill" cooling on the backside VRAM Chiplets/backplate area (active fan with heatsinks thermal taped to the backplate).  Most people I've seen mention it report the backside VRAM getting up to 90-100C while mining, no way you're going to keep that cool while also being quiet imo.
     
    GPU temp won't be a concern in comparison, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't really stress the VRMs too awfully much either.  Granted, I have a Kingpin card that has the 360mm AIO on it, but still, neither the GPU die temp nor the VRM temps were higher than they'd be just plain gaming, only the VRAM/memory iCX readouts & Memory Junction Temperature were hotter than when gaming.

    I think the max T-junction is 105 - 110 centigrade and of the GPU itself 83°. That is what gpu-z tells me anyway.

    Depends on what you consider loud... At 100% the FTW3 Ultra makes less noise than my R9 Fury at 50 - 75%.

    Exactly. My 5700xt blower style card sounded like a hurricane when it ramped up lol.

    Just upgraded from a 1080ti ftw3. Miss being able to set fan curves independently for power, ram, and gpu.
