Looks like an XC3 for me if EK makes a block, if not, the hydro copper.  Are those cards standard (same as the 2080 ti) width?   They appear to be....

3900X 4.5 GHZ on an Asus Hero
32 GB 3600 MHZ Corsair RGB Pro DDR4 RAM
1 EVGA 3090 XC3 soon to be Watercooled
2 2GB Corsair MP600's
HX1000 with custom sleaving

I'm going to be looking at a 2nd 2080 Ti XC, on the used market.   Anyone holdin?

IF I see the 3090 put up some Timespy GPU scores well over 20K stock, well I'll consider it.  Right now I'm expecting about 18.5K stock.

Or I may do nothing.

already saw the 3070 and 3080 specs..
bit disappointed with only 10GB of Vram was expecting just a bit more  in this gen! ...at least 12GB...

then there is that huge jump to a wastefull amount of 24GB Vram with the 3090... at 1500USD witch seems balanced price as well but already pushing it way over 1K!

lets see how much they charge for that 3090 beast here in Europe!  in euros is always more expensive!!

in the UK seems a balanced price in pounds tho!

In Eu if you are looking to get AIB card like 3090 FTW3 expect to pay minimum 1800euros. Kingpin will be 2200 euros im sure.
Its funny how they compare 1 USD=1 EUR

you cant compare! euros is way more!!!
its gonna be costly!! and with all this economic crisis going on its gonna be worse!

and it seems the 3090 with all that Vram is obviously directed to 8K resolution ( as i suspected)! so not aimed for my 1440p monitor!

The 3090 is going to chug hard at true 8K.  Like REALLY HARD.  Like running 4K with a 1050 Ti hard.

Any word on PCIe 4.0 motherboards?
Not that I think anything can saturate a 3.0 slot, but it would be nice to have just in case.

Only AMD X570/B550 at the moment, Intel has to release a PCI-E Gen 4 desktop CPU first, most likely early next year but they are as usual running behind schedule.

Clearly the gaps were left for next years upgraded line to fill in is my guess.

As for the 3090, that might be it and hope so for those that spend that much.

With that said, the 3090 Kingpin, presumably speaking, will most likely have a price tag of $2500ish since the baseline 2080 Ti was $1000 and the 2080 Ti Kingpin was $1000 more at $2000.

There's space for a 3080 Ti with 11GB and a 11/12th cut down GA102, or 4811-ish cores.

No reason to pay for an overpriced card for me. My 2080ti still destroys all games that are out there. Matter fact, my 1080ti still does as well. 1500 dollars for a top end card... NOPE. Went pretty close to that (1299) for my 2080ti, wasn't worth it. Won't make that mistake again.

If that 10k cores is correct, this must be a unique chip to gaming becuase A100 is only like 8100ish.

Not proud of the price, but proud of the specs if that number is true. By golly I might have to get one.

It's not. NVIDIA doubled the FP32 hardware in each CUDA core, so it's counting each CUDA core twice. For comparison purposes with older hardware it's only 5,248.

I think they A100 has 6912 FP32 cuda cores, and 3456 FP64 cores for 10368 total which isn't far from the number for a 3090, there's also another 432 tensor cores, so I'm think it might be about what cores do and don't "count" in that particular number.
It's possible that nvidia counted cores it wouldn't of counted earlier (likewise the volta tesla was 5120+2560+640)

if you have a number of special cores all doing different things, it's a bit harder to decide how to count, given that those cores are different, but important.

edit: where I got the core list for the tesla: https://wccftech.com/nvid...-gpu-launch-20x-volta/

So how the light bill will be each month for these GPUs🤔😹😹

Those who abuse power, are nothing but scumbags! The challenge of power is how to use it and not abuse it. The abuse of power that seems to create the most unhappiness is when a person uses personal power to get ahead without regards to the welfare of others, people are obsessed with it. You can take a nice person and turn them into a slob, into an insane being, craving power, destroying anything that stands in their way.

It doesn't have to be asked because they already confirmed that now - ONLY the 3090 gets a sli link connector.
They are pretty much getting rid of it each generation card by card.....  . .. So  SLI is pretty much over & done but for only the richest of the rich .

Maybe just an error ?.. I found another error on their sheet for the ICX3....

but here is where Jacob mentioned it -   https://forums.evga.com/FindPost/3072926

Maybe EVGA is planning to make their boards with SLI ??,.. but... kinda doubt it .  It would be nice though.

For context, Jacob is clearly answering in a Founders Edition thread. It is true that the Founder's Editions don't have the SLI fingers for 3080 and 3070.....but EVGA AIB cards do (at least in their marketing photos). Seems to me like a big reason to keep away from the Founder's Edition cards. Making a guess we'll also see 20GB 3080 cards pop up too eventually.

It will be the 3090 only. EVGA will not have SLi on the 3080 and 3070. SLi is done at the driver level and Nvidia will only have SLi implemented for the 3090 in the driver.

Why in the world would EVGA waste time and design money to engineer in SLI fingers on 3080 and 3070 cards and it not be a thing? Sounds like not everyone is on the same page and AIBs are either going off script or Nvidia is. My thoughts are the only ones off script are the radical fringe of Nvidia fans chronically confusing enthusiastic option with fact.

Kram36 sure seems authoritative about stuff. How dare I question his Nvidia religion. Show them a photos and they only get louder in denial of anything that doesn't align with their group think.

You do know they might have just used the 3090 picture for them all to highlight the design.
