I'm never getting a card from the queue since I signed up in 2021, so I'm just going to bite the bullet and pay scalper prices.

My question is, would the warranty transfer if I buy new on StockX? The issue with stockX is that the buyer and seller are always anonymous to each other, as StockX acts as the middleman. The seller ships the card to StockX, stockX confirms the card is legit and new, and then ships to me. I am unable to contact the seller and stockX is unable to contact the seller.

Would the warranty be transferable to me?

It is my understanding that if you have purchased the card from a non authorized reseller that the warranty period will begin from the time the card left the factory.

Enter the serial number on the product registration page and relevant information. You wont get the full 3 years as if you bought it at Best Buy but you should get something.

Hmm interesting, can a moderator or any EVGA affiliated staff/helpers clarify this?

EVGA support can be reached via this, as this is primarily a user to user help forum: https://www.evga.com/about/contactus/

There's also the authorized seller list: https://www.evga.com/Products/WhereToBuy.aspx

And then there's the warranty page that tells you about second hand warranty: https://www.evga.com/warranty/graphics-cards/

"A separate Transferable Limited Warranty is available for Second-Hand Purchasers, which also extends to used Products and Products not purchased from EVGA.com or an Authorized Reseller, as noted below."

    "

    Transferable Limited Warranty (Second-Hand Purchasers)

Subject to the terms and conditions of this Limited Warranty, the Transferable Limited Warranty is available to second-hand purchasers with a valid proof of purchase of the transaction between the current owner and the previous owner.* The limited warranty on any Product which was originally shipped from EVGA or an Authorized Reseller as a demo or prize is not transferable to second-hand purchasers and is not covered by the Transferable Limited Warranty.
Products shipped from EVGA as warranty replacements will be subject to this warranty so long as the original product was shipped from EVGA on or after July 1, 2011.
The length of the Transferable Limited Warranty is determined by Product according to the suffix associated with each Product's identification number as set forth below and will be measured beginning from Product's original date of shipment from EVGA or an Authorized Reseller:
    • 3 Year Transferable Limited Warranty Product Suffixes: -A1, -A2, -A3, -A4, -AR, -AX, -CR, -CX, -DX, -FR, -FX, -SG, -SX, -KR, -K1, -K2, -K3, -K4, -K5, -KB, -KA, -KF, -KL, -KM
    • 2 Year Transferable Limited Warranty Product Suffixes: -LA, -LE, -LR, -L1, -LX, -T1, -T2, -TR, -TX
Products described by the following suffixes are not covered by the Transferable Limited Warranty: -B1, -BR, -BX, -DR, -RX, -R2, -RB, -RL
*For more warranty information about original and second-hand purchases, please see our FAQ here."

Make sure the card is not B-stock (refurbished), as the warranty for that does not transfer.

Compared to Zotac, which gives you NO warranty if you are not the original owner, EVGA's warranty policy is the best in business.
