So, I just set up my Asus VG248QE, and the display is through a DisplayPort slot to my motherboard (780 Ti Classified should be here later today, and then the cable will be moved there :D ). It looks amazing so far, but I'm having trouble getting sound to come through - i.e. no sound has come through at all. Anything I'm missing here in initial setup? Drivers, maybe? The audio should come through with DisplayPort, but if I have to hit a menu setting or get drivers installed, that could be the issue, because all I've done is plug the monitor in to power and hooked it up with a DisplayPort cable.

If I recall correctly you can only get audio to a monitor through a 3.5mm cable or HDMI only. Have you tried either of those routes yet?

DisplayPort should also transmit audio, like HDMI. Since my 780 Ti Classified literally just got delivered, I'm going to install it and try the DisplayPort on it before I go towards a 3.5mm cable or HDMI.
I could just use HDMI until I get the G-Sync module into this monitor, and switch to DisplayPort at that time (G-Sync requires DisplayPort).

I figured it had something to with drivers xD
Got my GPU installed, updated drivers from NVIDIA, and my monitor appeared in the playback devices. Thanks!
