Valve is going to do whatever they do and I respect that and eat it up. I have yet to play a Dota game, so this will be my first... The art work looks nice;)

I'm excited. It was a good game to begin with. Now Icefrog has valves support. It could turn out to be a really good game.

Honestly while it sucks it wasn't HL:2 Ep:3 at least it's not a major game.  To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if under 10 guys are working on this game right now.  I think this is just mainly what they gave Icefrog not what they are putting their programmers toward.  It sucks but at the same time it's not like they couldn't still be working on Half life at the same time.

I wouldnt be concerned about HL2:Ep3, Im sure its coming,
 
I am excited for Dota2,  I loved that game during LAN parties... always got my trash kicked, but irregardless.

This profile should not exist, I didnt like my last username, so I made a new one

The problem is, DoTA (and its spiritual clones, Heroes of Newerth and League of Legends) is known for its horrible community that makes it anti-newbie. In fact, the game itself is inherently anti-newbie, since one person can bring down the entire team.
 
I'm very interested in the community changes that Valve will bring to this game. What remains to be seen is whether these changes will actually have an impact.
