Hello all, I recently ordered an RTX 2080 Ti FTW3 (11G-P4-2483-KR) to replace my GTX 780 SC 6GB SLI x2 (06G-P4-3787-KR). Does anyone know if this Front Panel HDMI/USB pass through is compatible with the RTX 2080 Ti? I have an HTC Vive and having this will make life so much easier. Thank you!

I don't see any reason why it wouldn't be compatible with any HDMI connection no matter what the video card.

I guess my question is if there is an internal HDMI pass through somehow? I don't want to run an HDMI cable from the back of the GPU, through another PCI slot, back into the case, then to the rear of the front panel. Just wanted a clean solution.

yeah i suppose the best way would be to run the cable thru a hole on the back of the case where a water line would normally go at. Not too many options of ways to do it.

I pulled up the specs for thus part on the EVGA site and it opens up specs for the EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti. compatible? yes it is. easy to cable manage? not so much. will have to run the HDMI cable through your system and for that, its probably better to just not do it unless you need the USB 3.0 ports.

Yeah i guess there was a few gpu's that had an internal HDMI port on them so i suppose thats what the front panel was more or less designed for.

+1 ![](https://forums.evga.com/upfiles/smiley/thumbup1.gif) Maybe you could use something like this and hope it passes through the wider opening or you could just remove a PCI bracket and just fish the cable that way.

If that adapter doesn’t end up working and you’ve got the funds, the vive wireless adapter works great for me. I just use a larger capacity Anker battery with a QC port so it lasts longer than the stock battery and still fits in the belt clip for it.

shouldn't the specs pull up the specs of the product you are looking at and not what it could have been used for"?

it seems from what I remember, that's the only card with an internal HDMI connection, You'll have to run the HDMI cable around somewhere from the back port with any other card.

The HDMI and USB Drive Bay actually didn't have a specs page and the one that was linked was in error. This has been corrected now and the erroneous specs page removed.

yes I brought it to the attention of EVGA support and they said they were going to have their IT department look at it.
