I manually struggled to do this trying to lock my card to 950mV and 1995mhz Saved on 3 profiles, hit apply. Went back to it and it was reset. This card boosts to 1040-1080mV and then severely underclocks itself it's a pain to deal with and I can't use MSI Afterburner because it can't control all 3 fans so I'm assuming I'm setting my VRMs on fire when the third fan isn't running. I saw there is a work around where you set your fan speed to X1 and then use Afterburner but that's not a real daily solution. Has anyone found any other way to do what you can do in picture 3 with Afterburner yet?

I tried, it still resets. What is the maximum amount I can do between hops?

Nope. Tried it. Still didn't work. The entire profile system seems to be bugged. I did exactly as you told me and it seems some settings carry over to other profiles. Also there's the issue of the Curve Tuner not updating until you move between windows. Hmm hyperlinks seem to be disabled for me. https://streamable.com/vs9qjq (removed) man why would EVGA force people to use this buggy, awful software??? edit: HOW CAN YOU RELEASE SOMETHING LIKE THIS HOLY (removed) https://streamable.com/w86q1b edit language removed by Cool GTX

This wouldn't even be a problem if EVGA didn't insist on using their own async fan controller. We could just use MSI Afterburner instead of this buggy fork they don't even seem to support. I don't even see any devs replying to these threads complaining about how many issues this software has.

Cool GTX I do not have a 30 series card to test with ... I'm a Volunteer Moderator - not an EVGA employee You downloaded the "standalone version of X1 ?
You have tried Running the software (open as ) Administrator ?
Yeah I know, you're just trying to help, I'm not trying to throw any shade at you or anything. And yes I downloaded the latest standalone version of X1. And yes I've been running it as administrator. Disabled UAC, disabled any other software that might try to interfere with this including AB and RTSS. Does the VF Curve Editor work on your cards?

I'm using X1 on my SLI EVGA 2080Ti Rig in my signature RTX Project .... version 1.0.2 .... however currently running fixed fans while Folding -------------------- I did have to "jump through a couple of Hoops" when Upgrading the version of X1 on my Win 10 machine When installing ...are you getting several security alerts - generated in Windows 10 ... "blocked program" ... you need to: check "Windows Security" "Allow an App through Controlled folder access" ---> if you noticed a Security pop-up during the Software's install Also check the: "Recently blocked apps" Handy step by step how to: Add or Remove Allowed Apps for Controlled Folder Access I go offline to install, then shut down All background software - yep, even security software

I didn't run into any of that. I disabled UAC and then group policy disabled Firewall and Windows Defender. I'm on a fresh install of W10, literally 2 days old.

That's fan curve related. I don't care about fan curves. The fan curves work. I care about the voltage tuner. And yes that was already off in the videos I made.

Just checked your videos https://streamable.com/vs9qjq https://streamable.com/w86q1b I'm running out of ideas ... don't know if you want to try any of the slightly older versions of the software - those made for the 30 series GPU Many Forums members use AB for Voltage curve Try letting both run ? X1 for Fans & AB for V curve ? I've never tried it

Nah I've completely given up. I'm waiting on EVGA to answer my support ticket regarding X1. If they don't fix this by then I'm just gonna swap my 3080 with my friend's Zotac. At least I can control the fans on that thing.

They don't both work at the same time. Clock goes all over the place. The only work around I've found is setting a locked fan speed in X1 turning it off and then using AB. But the problem with that is I have a fan running at 70% making a lot of noise now. Since AB can't adjust the 3rd fan speed. And it's not a solution you can daily. Every time I launch a game having to go through the hoops of launching X1, setting fan speed, turning it off, launching AB, doing the voltage curve.
