For sure, mine was at 11:54am on launch day. I'd say you hear back something next week.

thekidjiren So I shipped my old GPU on Thursday the 3rd and as of Wednesday the 9th, it's still "On the way", even though I paid for Priority Shipping and was supposed to get to EVGA in Cali on Monday. Should I call/contact USPS now? I JUST WANNA PLAY CYBERPUNK FFS.
well yeah at least an update to see if your package got lost or is just arriving late
So I called them and since their phone lines are full, the automated robot told me they'd be calling back in an hour. That was 2 whole hours ago. USPS is SERIOUSLY underfunded and understaffed. I feel bad for them as a whole. If this was UPS or FedEx I'd be livid since they're a private company, but the Postal Service is a government run entity and an essential part of a functional society so all I can blame is the people above for not giving them enough resources. EDIT: For all of y'all who are gonna be shipping your cards in the future reading right now, please try and ship on UPS or FedEx if you want your card in a timely fashion. ESPECIALLY if you're shipping from the East Coast, since it's gonna be shipped all the way to California. I've read about others having more issues with them right now compared to the other shipping companies, so if you have money to spare, go with the other companies.
You realize FedEx and UPS aren't doing any better, right? It's Christmas time and people are doing ALL of their shopping from home. Remember Black Friday/cyber monday when they stopped taking packages from certain retailers so they could ship packages that didn't belong to Macy's, Gap, Nike, L.L. Bean etc? They're under an unprecedented load.
Based on what I'm seeing, people who've shipped back their old cards using UPS are getting quick turnarounds with their 3080s. I finally got an email back from USPS and they said that it was basically sitting in the local PO for a two days and that they're shipping it out today, as well as an apology for delaying the package. Again I really don't wanna hate on USPS, I'm just frustrated that I paid for it to get there in 2-4 days and it basically took them double the time to do that. If I knew this was the case, I would've just payed for the cheapest option and waited it out. I REALLY don't wanna get political, but there's a certain Postmaster General that I'm fuming at right now for screwing with USPS which usually works better than the other options for me. Anyway, if EVGA ships my replacement out later today, I paid for 2 day shipping which means I hopefully get to play Cyberpunk all Saturday and Sunday, since UPS deliveries usually get to my house between 9-10am.

Yeah USPS has been painful lately. I've had 7 packages in the last week that sit in a depot for a couple days and blow past their delivery window. Unfortunate as I'd like to use them to support their function.

Where are you guys located with all these issues with USPS, I live in southern California and always mail stuff out across the country during the pandemic and everything is on time and sometimes early!

I shipped from NYC. But based on tracking, it somehow found its way to Seattle, who then sent it to the local California USPS where it sat there for 2 days until I called and asked them about it. It's all in the past now, since I just got the UPS email to get my 3080. Question though, if anyone here's used 2 day shipping for their step-up, it's telling me it'll get to my house Monday (currently Thursday 5:30PST as I write this). Any chance it gets flown out tonight? It seems like EVGA is waiting until tomorrow to give it to UPS which sucks.

I would say so, considering one 11:37 got in but the other didn't in this batch.

Shipped the old card from NY with USPS on Friday. $28 for priority "2 day" with $500 insurance. Was told Tuesday, delivered Thursday. Shipped out same day, and expected delivery in a week for UPS ground. That's from UPS ground price around launch ~$14, to UPS ground price currently for the Hybrid kit ~$20. Funnily enough, both shipped same day and seem to be arriving same day

Glorious Black Lips arrived yesterday.. After setting a fan curve that maxes out at 75% the game rarely gets above 72 in Cyberpunk, mostly hovers mid 60s.
No clue what I'm doing, but having fun trying to do it!

How is everyone doing the power supply connectors? My old setup called for 2 8-pin connectors. The FTW3 Ultra that I'm getting calls for 3. I had to order an extra 8-pin connector.

I'm just going to use 2 8/6+2 cables. I think I read somewhere that was okay.

It's ridiculous that's what. They needed to put more cards in the step up. I expected it to take a couple of weeks to get a 3080, not 4 freaking months. That's insane. Got my Strix 3080 in 2 weeks ago. I tried coming back to Evga again after trying during the 1080ti days and still couldn't get a freaking card. Yet there are still pictures of people with mountains of Evga cards for sale on ebay.

I was on the list for 9/18 around 11:00 am EVGA time but just sold my 2070S on eBay instead over the weekend. I happened to sign up with the 3080 FTW3U "Notify Me" button at the same time I registered for step up so I accidentally had the good fortune to wind up in that purchase queue which is moving way faster than step ups and is at around 7:30 am PT on 9/18. So, knock on wood, I should be getting an email to buy within the next couple weeks. I made a note in the Google doc that I cancelled my step up but don't see any way to straight up delete my entry. Thanks for the effort keeping track and good luck to everybody, hopefully the step-ups pick up some steam soon. Even if supply wasn't a problem this has to be a very manual process for EVGA's service team so I'm sure they're doing their best.

What's a local Micro Center? Large portions of the country don't have access to one of those. Newegg - sold out. Amazon - sold out. Looks like I am in the exact same boat in Step-up Queue as I would be trying to buy one.

I don't really get this comment either. The only imaginary part of that is my local Micro Center having any in stock. I appreciate that at least I don't have to pay full price for an upgrade. Got a 2080 Super in July and was content with keeping that until I found out about Step-Up.

Jacob said it was okay in a twitter post, a tech support guy at EVGA told me that was not what he recommends. I listened to the rep and went with a new PSU that has 3 individual PCI-E power connectors.

Card pulls 450W with the OC bios so it should be fine with one 8 pin and 8/6+2 but I might grab another 8 pin just to be on the safe side.

Sorry, I'm rather new to PCs. So you'll only have two cords? All my cords are 6+2 on one side and 8 on the other but I have 3. Are you saying you can run the card with just two power cords?

Correct. Your way is more ideal for sure. It's just that the Corsair PSU I have only came with the 8/6+2 daisy chain cables and no induvial 8 pins so I'll have an extra connector hanging off. Hope that makes sense it is a little confusing lol.
