Sent mine out a few minutes after getting to Step 5! If yall are curious about price, I went through USPS at a local store. Payed for $500 of insureance (cost 7.10 for that) plus $23.85 for the two day shipping, should be to them by Monday. $30.95 seems pretty fair compared to what I hear other have had to pay. I am located in the Central Northern US. 

Not bad at all! I have a feeling being on the East Coast is gonna screw me and cost me about double that lmao
 
Got my Step 5 today as well, but having one last hoo-rah with my 2070S tonight before shipping her off tomorrow morning and being without a card for a week :(

Mine went from Maine to Ca with usps and $800 insurance for $40 2 day priority

I rolled the dice when sending my 2060 to them, since I wasn't worried about the time in transit nor insurance for a $300 card. It took longer to arrive than UPS quoted, because of the Thanksgiving holiday closure, but that was okay by me since I have a 2080 Super now that is going into another build. But it only cost me like $12.65 to send it to them. It just amazes me to hear that people were willing to pay over $100 just for shipping a trade-in card.

Got through step up 3 & 4. Waiting on Step up 5.

I've also got a 1030 so I can at least use my PC while I wait

Based on recent responses..looks like it’s just gonna be luck of the draw on which lips you get.

Going by the spreadsheet, which seems to be a reasonable sample, step up submissions slowed down a lot after 1pm on launch day (9/17). It makes sense with all the people submitting ASAP on launch day morning. 


So I would expect the queue to start moving by multiple hours instead of one hour a week VERY soon. it should continue to pick up the pace as production goes up and the density of the queue goes down. There is hope! I’m 9/23 so hoping for January.
 
hokd out hope and keep in mind that the step up program is a gift from EVGA: part of its positioning as best customer service/experience in GPUs. If it was profitable evepry other GPU maker would do similar, that they do not proves the point. PC technology depreciates as fast as anything (Moore’s law and all), buying back cards for full retail is not a money maker, thst should be common sense. They’re probably close to “break even” on the program vs. making actual margin on normal wholesale/retail sales. It’s there to drive brand loyalty not to be a money maker, so feel lucky it even exists as an option. Direct your scorn towards Nvidia where it belongs!

You can't say EVGA has been stellar at communicating how things are looking and the outlook for people waiting. I'm not the kind of person that just happily will sit and wait endlessly with no idea of how long this process will take without getting frustrated. However, give me some idea of an approximate time range and I can live with that. That's 90% of my major frustration with this process. I don't know how communication has been for the 3080 queue, but for the 3070 queue it's been pure garbage. 

Got my Step 5 email at 4pm EST and sent my 2080 to EVGA last night right before the Post Office closed at 5 lol, expected to get to them on Monday. $40ish dollars with USPS Priority and $800 insurance form NYC. 
 
Hope to have my card by Wednesday since I paid for 2 day air. Godspeed to all of you still waiting for your Step 2s, I hope EVGA/Nvidia is gonna ramp up soon and get cards to you guys!

This week cut off right before me.. Bummer. Looks like I'll have it a few days after Cyberpunk.

Zero difference. It's just a cosmetic change after backlash over the red trim... so evga caved and changed it to black instead. Apparently both versions are being sent out right now.

I don't care if the card is so hideous that it turns people to stone as long as it can do 60fps at 4K. 

Same. Although now that you mention it...I might actually prefer a card that turns people to stone.

Yeah I got step 1 email sept 26th... I don’t expect my card till March/April unless they continue with increased production and speed then possibly Jan/feb timeframe

Step 1 email October 15th.  I'm thinking I'll be like around June or so.

One question the graphics cards usually come with caps covering the hdmi port display port and all that to ship it back do you need to put them back ? I lost all of them🥲🥲🥲
