Been checking the email everyday since seeing someone got their step 2 three days ago having started their step 1 on 10/21/20.  I'm on 10/22 ... so close!  Need a drop soon, please!

Once the 4000 series are announced, will EVGA offer people the option to immediately queue up for like a 4070 or 4080 or something? Ahead of all new Step-Ups to those cards? Or will we get dropped to the back of the line or dropped altogether?

The step is up for whatever you chose to step up too. They won't substitute unless maybe they discontinued your card you chose to step to. And than who knows.

Really wish they would put more drops towards the stepup program before the queue.

Another disappointing week.

In 22 days, it will have been a year since my Step 1 confirmation. From the user generated queue lists, it seems my watch is almost over. I wish EVGA would release the order of step-ups and send out a unique identifier so I could track my progress, but I digress. 

Bought a prebuilt with a 3070 over the summer... learned of this step up program and bought the extended warranty in order to submit the stepup request to a 3080.. i thought i was being patient waiting 4-5 months..just to come here and see the depression of people waiting for over a year.. insanity.. will a 3080 even be cool anymore by the time I make the top of the list -_-

In 16 days, I will have waited for a year.  While I think the step-up program is a great idea, the efficiency of getting cards out is something to be desired.

I really think they should start allocating the bulk of their stock to EVGA.com customers. Unlike people who pick up a video card from Microcenter (99% scalpers, I've been there and stood in line, I'm not exaggerating) or NewEgg, the people getting cards from the website usually come away really happy with the experience, extolling the virtues of EVGA, signing up for extended warranties, posting on forums and social media about how EVGA is great for getting them cards during the great chip shortage crisis, etc etc. You just don't get that kind of customer investment/retention otherwise. I've seen people on reddit who got cards from the queue or Step-Up literally fighting/arguing with people about EVGA cards' reliability, not being objective, just basically saying "customer service is great, EVGA 'til I die". Hell, I bought an extended warranty and there's no way I keep my card longer than 2-3 years. I don't even know why I did it. Talk about brand loyalty.
 
So it makes no sense to me that they're sending so many cards to these stores. Those customers probably won't even remember the company who made the card after a few months, most people just remember what model it is. I'm speaking from experience. I remember having a GTX 570 but for the life of me I couldn't tell you who made it. I can tell you I had a Zotac 670 or something once because it failed on me early and I swore off Zotac after that. 
 
Maybe it's because of deals they have with the stores? Surely they can just send fewer cards there and allocate more for the website?
 
Anyway, I already got a 3080 Ti out of the queue (for me), and a 3070 Ti (for a friend), and I entered that 3070 Ti into Step-Up for a 3080 immediately (this was about 1-2 weeks ago). My friend didn't seem to understand the whole Step-Up program because he couldn't understand that a company would do this. And now he will always recognize EVGA when he sees their name/brand on something.
 
And at least for the Step-Up queue, I hope they just automatically transition us into the next equivalent product if these cards get discontinued or production becomes severely limited due to a new generation coming out.

Why won't they fulfill the stepup queue instead???

Nothing was mentioned about the stepups.

Not a single step up has gone out for the last two* weeks. I don’t know if they remember we are even here.

It's been 3 weeks according to the list. 9/13 last date someone reported. The list isn't 100 percent accurate of course, but it's close enough.

He did say they get sent out “”usually”” weekly. Which, needless to say, hasn’t been holding true for us. 

Sold one 1080 Ti right now for $475...  Still waiting on my step up Que... Still have some time but I am gathering the money for it now and packing it away on my paypal card... 

This tho, is by far.. insanity when it comes to the step up process this year... just... ****. Last time I stepped up.. was the 970 FTW2 X2, right when 1080 Ti's came out almost... and I made the step up window by days... I think It took 5 months or so.. this.. is.. Insane... and not seeing movement with the Step Up while people can get them from microcenters are insulting -_-

Currently waiting on the RMA info to come via email in 1-2 business days and my step 5 of shipping out the card will be complete!  Sheesh...what a long wait this was.  Ugh!

Received my step 2-4 today.My date was 10/23/20.Nearly a year now waiting on my Rma.The end is almost near.Good luck to everyone else.

Damn... literally a week or so shy of a year.. OK then... still a whole month and change to go for me then.

I signed up to evga and registered my gpu for warranty and received my card on 10/6/2020 but waited till 10/28/2020 for step 1 for some reason lol
