As most of us know, the manual available to keyboard users is pretty limited. I have managed to get by with my new Z12 and am pretty happy with the purchase so far.
Of course, I have learned a little about what the Unleash RGB software does in terms of allowing the keyboard to work its magic. Until now, I have always started/stopped the software manually. It is NOT running all the time. Mostly what I have done (simple, static, solid color profiles and a few key re-maps - not even any macros yet) seem to work by storing data in the keyboard itself somehow and do NOT seem to require Unleash RGB to be running all the time.
But it is clear that there is an option to run the software to start with Windows and I presume there is a good reason for that. But I have no idea what that reason might be. For example, must it be running for macros to work? Must it be running for more complex color profiles to work? I am just not clear on all this.
Thanks
