    Surround was fun to play until i realized i was missing half the HUD.

    Surround was fun to play until i realized i was missing half the HUD.

    ^ This.  I ended up reverting to a single screen for the majority of the beta.  No minimap and no weapon info are too much to give up.  Hopefully that'll get fixed in the full release, or someone at WSGF will come up with a fix for it quickly.

    I was a couple of hours into the Beta when I said to myself, "It would be nice if this game had a mini map". I did a search and saw that there was a mini map and HUD, just not in surround. I managed to live without the nuisance throughout the Beta but it's something they need to address.

    Gettin a new desk soon to support surround but wow that is nice! Gonna take some time before I can get all the needed upgrades to go surround though xP

    I think that the devs might have done this on purpose to 'level the playing field.'  Still a fun experience, even without the HUD.
