Dunno about alot of you BF3 players, but being a Battlefield veteran from the BF1942 days from playing demo on Wake Island till my hands bleed, to still playing it to this day 9 years later and STILL having a great time playing with either myself with BOTS or going online on the scarce few servers that still live. ONE map out of all them still holds dear to my heart more then any other map. Its a perfect balance of size, strategy, room, distance, no matter if you have a small group of 8 dedicated Battlefield people or a crazy 64 player blood bath! No matter if your a scout/recon that loves to roam the land and waiting for the perfect, long distance headshot across the desert, or the hot flying ace's of the skies like myself, swopping amongst the tree's and mountains, chasing down your prey in a heated dogfight. Or if your the in your face kinda warrior, going head to head with tons of steel and iron with tanks blasting away at eachother at close range or lobbing your shells of death over long distances, this map by far has created some of the best gaming memories ive ever had, wether via single or multiplayer, it does it all and I feel it truly DESERVES to be reborn and live again on Battlefield 3 as expansion map. I'm talking of course about: EL ALAMEIN  So if anyone else like me that would give their right nut to have this map reborn on BF3, get onto Twitter, Facebook or email and beg, plead and demand DICE/EA to give us this map! I've created a Twitter account just to ask on BF3's twitter constantly if they will do it. The squeaky wheel gets the grease as they say!

I almost cry when I see anything related to this map..I have spent endless hours on it...it was great in CTF mode as well
BF1942 was epic..it was actually the first online game I ever played !! Those old planes were more fun than the modern jets !!

Oh My god...I loved Coral Sea !!! My top 3 were El Alamein, Coral Sea, and Wake Island I want BF1942 NOW

That was a great map, even better when dc put the a10 and the ac130 to work on it. too many hours spent but not enough, Agreed it should come back,

I spent endless hours playing this map under Desert Combat. Ahhh, the memories! I do hope these classic maps are reborn under BF3.

El Alamein, greatest CTF map ever !
Just let Dice remake bf 1942.. and we can all enjoy everything again !!
