rjohnson11 I'm curious to see what results are for Google Fiber if anyone is on it.

That download speed isn't as impressive as I thought it would be but that upload is interesting.

Not at all. Charter here offers 60/4. Not sure how you got above that but they don't seem to understand that I refuse to pay the same price for 60/4 as I do for 150/150.

I don't want to hear anyone complaining..... I work for my ISP and I have connections inside the central office and this is as fast as I can get. I am tickled pink to have 3Mb. I used to barley have 1. What sucks is that the equipment is there but Verizon is capping it for no reason. I have went all the way to presidential appeals and they will not budge. No one is even on my Dslam but maybe 30 people. I can't wait for Frontier to take over!

This area sucks. Hotspots are all crap, I had the boosted wi-fi type off a repeater and satellite prices are crazy high with caps. Time warner is not out this far either. There are almost no options. I pay $30 and it comes with a Land line. That is actually quite a discount since I work for them.

I think they advertize 4g but from what I was told, it's really 3g. At home, it is a good day if I have anything over 2 bars of anything

Yea, I'm from Louisiana. I live in a subdivision and I hate my neighbors. I got into it with them a few times because they don't know how to keep their music down and one thing that annoys me more then anything is bass + rap music. I can't stand rap.

I'm just appalled that there are companies that still are this slow. My boss has AT&T and omg those speeds are horrible. Like when we game, I'm always seeing him have to catch up with lag grace. No company in a populated area should offer anything less than 10/3. AT&T U-VERSE is supposed to be faster than regular AT&T right?

Very nice upgrade. Did it increase the price at all? If not then that's great.
