Temp on evga 1060 3gb

Hi everyone.

When i play some games like the evil whithin 1 on ultra settings or farcry 3 on ultra with supersample off my card is gets hot above 80c with 70%+ on fan rpms, it is that normal?i have the side panel open.

Temp of my room its about 27c maybe more.

My video card its a evga gtx 1060 3gb acx 2.0 no oc ed with single fan.

    The heatsink used is inefficient.  Look past the fans below. There are dual heatpipes + more copper on SC.

    I see that heatsink its a joke. Well i can use that card with that temps? What is the lifetime on that card with that temps? I was watching on evga precision it has 2 bars 1 is power limit and 2 temp if i put the 2 controls on temp example 75c the card try to keep that temp but it say something like throttle or something i guess is like a nerf?

    Yeah it's the same heatsink that's on my 1050 Ti but even with the 1060 I wouldn't look at it as a joke it's just not the best option. Typically the non superclocked cards are for the not so serious and who wants a lower price.
    Somewhere when I searching I saw someone say 1060 will be okay at temps of 94c?
    The expected life time should be all the same and the warranty is three years if bought from an Authorized Reseller.

    Edit: In Precision XOC I would leave the power limit and temp sliders at the original settings. What I do suggest and do myself is use the aggressive fan curve that can be found by hitting the gear on the UI I also enable frame target and set to the max Hz of my monitor. When I apply a GPU and memory offsets I set the power limit to 100%.
