johnerz Thanks, I have mine on 1 1/4 inch stand offs with Noctua 90's twin fan corsair 850 TX PSU I have changed the fan flow around so that all fans pull in from the front of the board and out of the back. currently the rig is still in the house and not in its home (workshop) as I only have one monitor (my son in law threw out the other one i had as a spare without asking) The photo I have re-posted and it should show on this post - currently it does not show the "extra" fans front left and front right as these will be replaced a fans front and centre as in your photo :) No pets or children, but I had my finger bitten by a 140 last night lol typo Now learn CLI and ditch the monitor :)

If you are using ubuntu, you should be able to install xrdp and then use windows rdp client to connect to the box to admin it. However, I am not sure how well xrdp works with unity. Food for thought, lss keyboards, mice, monitors laying around. Wires make me freak out.

scotty Thanks, that seems like a good choice, I've had a quick look here: http://www.liberiangeek.n...indows-remote-desktop/ And it seems to be just what I need. I'll have a closer look on Monday when the wife is out :) and report back. Is there any point in using the latest Kernal 3.6.0? I'm on 12.04 LTS Desktop 64 and using muskys recommended stuff

Not sure, most of my folding boxes are 10.10 and no updates. In fact, couldn't update if I wanted to, repos offline. Dedicated folders.

Tested this on Linux Mint 14 worked like a charm threw my W7 rig. Thanks for sharing! Edit: Great for checking temps of each Linux base rig. I setup all 5 of my BigAdv rigs to use this from my W7 rig that I monitor each using HFM. Now I'm really going to be lazy, since I no long have to go to each rigs to check there temps. lol Only thing I noticed is it doesn't show the fah terminal that's already open on those rigs. Any idea why the folding terminal doesn't show up when you login? Pretty easy to setup and get running I just copied and pasted my IP addresss for each rig from HFM. Like 192.168.1.100 Lots of customizing rez on how it shows when open.

Good news/Bad news Parts came and went....Darn UPS...won't accept $$$...(ie broker fees) have to go to bank and get cheque made out (which is both good and bad) - they will be back tomorrow with the parts again (and finally get most of the parts except one - which is shipped later when they get it- no problem is just 1 fitting - I can have loop setup without it - with maybe the filter missing) and I get to do some more tweaking (good and bad) both rigs go down while I change things up (I have some changes for rig 2 with cooling and lighting) so take the down time Im having(some today & yesterday for Laundry- the rigs on same circuit) to catch up (ya I know I have some wiring changes to do - need new separate line for laundry and for kitchenette in the basement) SO....You'll get some pics of the new hardware and some pics as I do the update

For the CPU 3x120 now in a Push Pull Temp normal 3x idle 34-40 folding 52-56 normal 56 high 62. 78 is the highest when testing memory. Was 105 under air or closed water like the H100. GPU 27 idle and 42 while folding and the Highest was 48 when benchmarking. 90+ on Air. The GPU on the out side is 4x120 in Push Pull and one 120 Push Pull in the bottom of the case. If I had my 900D I would have a 2nd for the CPU as well. The second one helps cool the water going into the Pump/Res cooling the pump. Cooling Koolance Radiator, 3x120mm 30-FPI Copper *CPU Cooling Koolance Radiator, 1x140mm 30-FPI Copper *Had to remove to add the 4x120 on the outside. Cooling Danger Den Stealth GTS 120 Black Ice *This is what is at the bottom of the case, Cooling Koolance Radiator, 4x120mm 20-FPI Copper *New, I have not added to my MODS Rigs. This is the ASUS Maximus V FORMULA Systems 4 MODS Rigs link, I have a few. Bill

Shut down my 980x rig yesterday for a short while and the pump got air bound. Ended up having to remove the water cooler and rebuild the loop. Oh well it was just for short OC bench testing anyways. Folding 24/7

I don't think they are making the one anymore. If you have some old copper coolers you could whack them down and then use some 3m thermal tape. Do sand/clean up so they sit correctly on the VRMs.

New Folding System 1 Replaced my Maximus V Formula system with Maximus V Extreme in a 900D Case, runs 650 to 700 watts while Folding. Folding 4 CPU's and 4 GPU's 24 Hours a day till the end of this month and then only overnight to help keep the elect bill down over the summer. Then this Winter I will use this one and one other computer to heat my house. Bill
