Do you really need a Y-Adaptor?
You need a 5 Wire Connector to connect to the NU Audio Card.
Also any SATA Power Cable should be 5 Wire, stay away from any 4 Wire SATA Cables.
This is what I am using https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C71J8LL

I guess this would work then since there is 5 wires? or can you link one

I would like a y adapter

but I can just run the 2 of those from the main psu Sata cable behind the motherboard tray

because im running a extra usb pci card that needs a Sata cable to power

Why do you need to use a Y-Adaptor?
What Power Supply are you using?
You can also use this cable https://www.amazon.com/dp/B012BPLW08

Retarded
That is why I used this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07C71J8LL
It is a cable that you cannot Hide because of the way it connects to the NU Audio Card.
This looks best as it shows on the Front on top of the Motherboard.

This direct from the PSU.

Re: Sata Power Question 2019/06/29 15:26:35 (permalink)
NVM I see the cable mod cable kit has a Sata cable with 2x Sata which is perfect for that then I won't need extensions works out perfect

  • 2 x Dual SATA Power Cable (500mm)
The cable mod sleeved full cable kit would be the right Sata cables correct?

NVM they are Perfect! thanks for the help tho
