    Nostalgia is great and all - I enjoyed #1  , but I don't put much faith in any of the people they got left over there to make much of a quality sequel .

    That is kind of what I was thinking. The original game came out in what 2003? It was a good game and I think it could have an awesome sequel but a lot of gamers have never even heard of the original.

    I think it came out in 2005, still old as heck. There are still tons of good mods to be found for Stalker, and there was 2 offical games that came after too. Theres a lot of stalker stuff to play if you snoop around.

    I pick up a game in the Stalker series a few times a year: it's the game that keeps giving (and I haven't installed any mods).  Can't wait for another sequel, and hope they stick to what made the first games special.
