I became interested in SSD performance from this thread here and I then was curious how my system would differ between the built in storahci.sys driver from MS versus Intel's RST driver. I found it rather interesting that not only did my access times get better, but my 4K random write speeds practically doubled on both my drives. Not sure how that translates to real world performance but I figured I would share this as I didn't expect a change. I had always ignored the Intel drivers due to thinking they didn't matter but I'm starting to think a little differently. Interested in seeing other's benchmarks.

I know, I just didn't want to clutter the post with lots of images. :P

Any one with 950 Pro NVMe speeds.  I have not been able to find NVMe drivers from Samsung for Windows 10 pro x64 or anything with OS above Win7 and maybe 8.

Hope this is not a Highjack.

The difference between Microsoft's NVMe driver and Samsung's NVMe driver is pretty big for the 950 Pro drives. The drive throttles much less with them.
