Just a curious question ... does anyone know why EVGA does not make a 360 CLC?

I am really interested in buying an EVGA 360mm liquid CPU cooler.  Is there anyone else interested?

Does EVGA have any future plans to sell a 360 CLC?  If so, when?

If not, I'm curious why EVGA does not offer a 360mm CLC when so many other CLC vendors do (Fractal Design S36, Thermaltake Riing TT 360 Premium, Deepcool Captain 360EX, Corsair H150i Pro, Alphacool Eisbaer 360, newest addition the NZXT Kraken X72, to name a few).

    What do you all think?

    Hey thunder-93,

Interesting that someone made another thread wondering if we have plans for a 360MM CLC. I can only reiterate what has been stated in that thread that XrayMan posted and say that I am sure that is something that product management is looking into but nothing has been announced just yet! Best thing to do would be to shoot a tweet over at Jacob Freeman! @EVGA_JacobF

As we see other companies do 360mm I think things change. While you might not see a big difference between a 240mm and 360mm if the customers start wanting a 360mm I am sure EVGA will make it happen. I don’t know if it will be something we will see anytime soon but I would expect EVGA to always look at meeting the customers wants.

I think people would love to see replacement pump/rad assemblies available.
EVGA makes the hybrid GPUs and sells kits, they sell out fast then they stop selling them with no replacement parts available.
Luck has it we figured out the pumps/rads are the same for the 900 series and 10 series cards.
So to have a spare pump I have to have the whole hybrid kit shroud and all.  I just want the pump/rad.

And yeah, a 360mm would be a nice option to have.
Maybe even a 140mm or 240mm option for the GPUs kits

EVGA has shown off the QRG which is the quick disconnect cooler. Though so far we haven't seen it more then at tech shows. That said it seems to be something they are looking into.

I'd like to see a dedicated Threadripper AIO cooler with a 360 rad and 240mm fans. It would need a heat plate to cover the entire length of the Threadripper heatsink.

Add a chunky copper radiator, QDC's and I'm all in! We're enthusiasts so we can fit an extra thick rad in our case, can we? :) So far only Alphacool 280 Extreme seems to be using a thicker than normal radiator but the whole assembly is massive, they're using a variation of the D5 pump in it.

Though, knowing EVGA is using Asetek based products a copper radiator probably won't happen?

That would require replacement of the baseplate to maximize efficiency. The small Asetek baseplate doesn't do very well on TR.
From what I've seen, every TR AIO with fully sized plate were custom designed, not Asetek's.

I'm sure it will work with Socket TR4 due to the same ring bracket being used as the CLC 280, 240 and 120, at least that is what it seems like. Of course, as Bepzinky stated, the cold plate will not make full coverage with the heat spreader on the Threadripper CPU. However, I'm sure the temperatures should still be okay under stock settings. I have yet to see any testing published by tech websites with thermal numbers however.

As with other CLC models (excluding CL11), these work with TR4.  The only thing is that Asetek provides the TR4 bracket with the TR processor, rather than the AIO itself.

From what I have read I am not sure if a thicker rad would really make a difference for the 360. It's already kind of overkill since in most tests going from a 240 to a 360 doesn't really add much cooling. Increasing the size of what was already overkill wouldn't really benefit the user that much.

Any order of magnitude for ETA? Trying to decide if I go corsair 360mm or clc 280mm for a meshify c case... clc 360mm (to optimize airflow into the case from the front) is what I'd prefer. I'd be all over an EVGA clc360 if you got one out soon! Before Labor day weekend would be perfect ;D
