I had a thread on the old board about how my EVGA 123-K8-NF47-AX 939 NVIDIA nForce4 SLI X16 ATX AMD mobo got an FF lock and basically needs to be replaced. I've had it for about two years, and the warranty was one year. I have no problem taking a minor financial hit to replace it, but, unfortunately, they don't seem to make socket 939 motherboards anymore.

My processor is an AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Manchester 2.2GHz Socket 939 89W Dual-Core. I'm assuming that only a 939 motherboard will fit it. Are they available anywhere anymore?

Have you "googled" it?  Have you taken a look at this link?

I saw that list, but it's a bit overwhelming, and not many of the links actually go to retail sites for purchasing. I can't really tell how much the different models go for or even if they're available.

I originally spent $120 on this motherboard, but the processor was about $400, so I'd obviously prefer to not replace that as well.

Do you have a particular brand in mind Drkissinger, as you probably already know EVGA is out as they don't have AMD boards anymore.
Do you need a SLI board?
Need IDE connections and if so how many?

Did find your board is the exact same one as the Jetway 939GT5 but can't find those for sale anywhere either.

Can't find any boards with the needed 184 pin memory sockets either. So you'd probably need to get new memory as well.

Looking for some combo deals right now I know Newegg was advertising them for quite a while, like MB, CPU and memory or video card for like $150. Unfortunately I deleted all the old promo emails on that so I'm manually searching.

Finding a new one is going to be hard.

If going used, Ebay will be your freind.   I recommend these NF4 Sli boards if thats what you need?  Sticking with the Nforce4 sli chipset will give you the best chance of everything transfering over without a hitch, because most of them have the same specs, (eg.  pci-e slots, memory type, sata, ide, drivers.)

DFI Lanparty NF4 Sli series (sli-d, sli-dr, sli-dr expert)  The best 939 boards made, for durability and overclocking.

Here is essentially a whole system for $200 in a combo deal. Might want to ditch the case or at least the PSU it comes with as it only has 1 SATA power, no PCIe power and only 2 molex connectors. In other words the PSU is the same old el-cheapo's they stick in most cases that come with a PSU.

The MB is micro ATX and has onboard video but should be fine as long as you don't have more then 2 PCI cards or even more then one if you have a double wide video card.

Don't know much about any of the products except to say G. Skill is usually some good ram.

Also found just some MB and memory deals for around $200 or less if the above does not interest you.
