Forgive me if this has been posted elsewhere. 
 
I just came across the Hydro Copper 3080 FTW3 Ultra. I currently have the same card but air cooled and im giving up waiting for EK to produce a water block for my card. so considering "upgrading" to the official water cooled option from EVGA. so i can finally complete my custom water cooled system.
 

 
There appears to be no option yet to register interest to purchase as they had with previous releases to combat bot issues.
 
Any input you can offer is greatly appreciated.

It's mid December before you will be able to put your name on the notify list for any of the Hydro Coppers (unless you already managed to get your name in for that brief 10-20 seconds it was open). Other then that extremely small first batch, it seems unlikely we'll see any Hydro Coppers sent out this year, be it 3080, 3090, or possibly even K|ngP|n.
 
Optimus have pre-sold 2 batches of FTW3 blocks, none have been sent out yet, and last I heard they were having even more delays, so if you haven't already prepaid, zero chance this year with them. If you have prepaid, first batch *may* get lucky and have a few sent out in December, but I wouldn't count on it the way things are looking, and based on their history.
 
EK initially indicated mid November, however a Facebook post only two days ago said they haven't even started on the 3080/3090 FTW3 blocks yet, but it was next in line along with the 3090FE, after whatever they are doing now (AMD blocks I believe, which is ludicrous seeing as almost nobody can get hold of those cards), so that seems quite likely not until late December for the very first ones, which will be sold in in mere seconds.
 
The demand for FTW3 blocks is HUGE, so as far as getting a block from any of these manufacturers, maybe Feb 2021 before you actually can get one in your hands, unless you get extremely lucky and sit around hitting F5 all day every day, but most likely bots will take everything and you'll find them on EBay etc for about $800+ each (that's just the block alone).
 
Good luck. I have everything sitting here ready for a full CPU+GPU loop except the GPU block, and at this stage I feel like I'll still be waiting when the more reliable 4000 series rumors are confirmed. I'm not joking. Certainly the 3080 Ti/Super will be paper launched by then.
 
 
Edit 11/22: I see EK updated on Facebook a few hours ago - there's hope for us yet!
We aren't experiencing issues with bots purchasing blocks. People will be able to cool their FTW3 cards with our blocks this year. We have multiple teams working on projects and the collaboration with AMD began a while back. It hasn't impacted development of the FTW3 blocks.
