Hey guys I just got this card a few hours ago and I have a solid red led on the 3rd power PCIe slot the card is running fine but I have seen this card on other peoples build with no red light. As of now I have tired shuffling around the cables and trying multiple slots on the power supply and nothing has changed. Any help would be appreciated

I am in a similar boat. Been trying to figure out what's wrong but no idea. I'm on three dedicated plugs to the PSU which is a Seasonic Silent Snow 750W so should be plenty of power. I also downloaded the PX linked above and did not get prompted for a firmware update. Anyone know how to trigger the firmware update? Additionally and not sure if it's linked but none of my RGB is lighting up on the card. Going into PX and changing colors / modes does nothing. Anyone else with the RED LED issue seeing no RGB?

I’m having this same exact problem. It just happened today about an hour ago. Just opened a ticket, Really bummed. I was really enjoying this card.

To the people still experiencing this problem. The steps to try are force updating the firmware if that doesn’t work pls reach out to their customer service and to start an RMA. Jacob went through all the steps via email with me then started the RMA in my behalf. I received the new card today and it works perfectly! Whole process took around 5 days and we had a stat holiday here in Canada should be less than that now

They're beta testing the pre-release, 4 to 6 months from now is when the real 3080s come out.

My new card I got from the RMA is doing this as well. Working fine but it has the red light on.

I just got the same issue. My computer crashed while I was playing Apex Legends and when I rebooted it. It was a red light above the 3rd PCIE PSU Slot on the GPU. Switched the cables and removed the card to realign, but to no avail. Is there any solution?

With a history of complete failure on these cards, I would have it out of my PC. Something is obviously not right. EVGA should have you sending these cards back in their current state so they can test and see what is happening BEFORE the smoke comes out, not having you do the testing until the smoke comes out. Surely that red led is meant to alert you of a condition. Is there anything in the manual that states what that condition is?

Same here on a 3090 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid. Red light on the far left Power Connector, card works fine other than being power limited even at stock settings.

I got a 3070 ftw ultra new today... same issue here. red light on the far left and no RGB. :/ any ideas?

I updated my firmware yesterday and the red light is gone now on my FTW Ultra Hybrid 3090.

Just happened to me now. Red led on over the third PCIE power cable. ASUS MB white QLED is ON (VGA malfunction) Should I try update bios with precision X1 or just start RMA process. I have had the card for a weak. Happen while I was on my desktop. IT was never overclocked. All stock including the switch. My old RTX 2080 Super FTW3 Ultra was flawless. I sold it 2 days ago. :( P.S Precision X1 is not working. It installs just fine but it is not working. I guess cos the system can not detect EVGA card. P.S Tried to update the bios..said no compatible display adapters found.
