Since we now have a few posts about this issue, these are the recommendations we've been given to troubleshoot this issue. POST Code AB is not an error, but rather, it means you're at the BIOS setup page. So, if you're at AB and you have picture, you should be good to go. [EDIT] - Thank you to everyone who tried the steps here. Unfortunately, they did not work, but we currently have a test BIOS for each Z690 board that may fix the issue. Please PM me with your Z690 model and I will send it to you.

Fast boot is disabled in my BIOS, still no BIOS display on 4090 FE. Not sure if im missing something but I don't have "Turn on fast startup (recommended)" in my windows version 22H2.

You might have hibernate disabled, which will hide the setting for Fast Boot. Close the power options menu. Run CMD as an admin, then add this: powercfg /hibernate on Reopen the menu and you should see both hibernate and Fast Boot as options. You can disable hibernate again from the shutdown settings menu.

Ok, I disabled "Turn on fast startup (recommended)" in Windows, powered off then back on and let it sit in Windows. I then powered back off and tried again, but unfortunately still no video in BIOS. I powered off and cleared CMOS, still no luck. Finally, I got back into BIOS with another GPU and disabled fast boot again, but that still did not fix the no video issue.

On my 3090ti I seemed to have fixed my Samsung G9 not responding/no bios issue by manually setting PEG and forcing the PCI slot to Gen 4 instead of Auto on both.
13900k on a Z690 Classified w/ 4090 FE

Booted into BIOS with on-board video. Disabled fast boot in the BIOS. I also disabled fast startup in Windows. I followed all of the steps in the OP and I still have the same issues. No BIOS display in 4090 FE. I get no signal until the Windows login screen. I know it's in the BIOS because it has the Ab code.

I will try this tomorrow, when my 13900k comes in. I think I tried it on Saturday, but I spent so many hours trying to fix, it's all a blur now. :)

Test BIOS is working with my 12900K and 4090 FE, I get to the BIOS screen now at startup. My T-Force 7200 A-Die is working at XMP as well now. 
13900KS on Z690 Dark KP FE 4090

13700k and 4090 FE working without issue now with the test BIOS. I'm able to see BIOS every time I boot now. Thanks for everyone's hard work to fix this.

I will test the "test" BIOS today when the 13900K arrives. But I am confused, I have a UEFI system, and a GPT windows boot disk, why do I need CSM on? Isn't that for the older MBR table? I keep CSM off on all other UEFI systems I own. I remember I had to enable CSM for my daughter's 5600X system and update the DisplayPort firmware on her GTX 1070 using an HDMI cable, then the DisplayPort started to work, and I was able to disable CSM. The RTX 4090 FE is brand new though.

Are you sure it's not "Ab"? That means you are IN the BIOS.

I suppose it could be a b looking at it again. My bad. Test bios then? I made the mistake of resetting cmos, and now it doesn’t go past the bios at boot to windows anymore. Sigh.

Hi jscheema, I sent you two different BIOS links early this morning. The first would have disabled CSM as a means for us to at least try to get you picture while we worked on a more permanent solution. Ignore that one. Instead, use the second BIOS I sent you, which so far people have had success with.

Experiencing the same issue on an evga 1080ti - no BIOS screen, but boots fine and the video start working once booted to Windows. Can see BIOS and Windows fine with an old AMD 480 and 5700xt. Strange though - all 3 of the video cards show PCIe x8 speeds in both BIOS and Windows. Doesn't seem right. Will wait for the beta bios release to retest the 1080ti.

Can you send me the test bios? I have a 13900K and a Z690 Dark. And it doesn't solve the Qcode Ab problem on a system with 4090FE.
