Can you tell me if EVGA will offer 3 slot spacing NVLINK bridge for EVGA RTX 3090 Graphics cards, Nvidia already does offer new NVLINK bridge for RTX 3090 on their official website but unfortunately their official bridge is 4 slot spacing only, i have Z490 motherboard and as you might already know 4 slot spacing is not possible fot SLI on those mobos, i plan on watercooling my GPUs so the size wont be a problem and thats why im looking for 3 slot spacing bridge.

some of us have huge game libraries with great sli supported games shadow of mordor, rise of the tomb raider, max payne 3 Crysis, Bioshock, Dead Space Rage 2, Anthem I can go all day you can do alot with sli if you know how to use nvinspector. I am on X299 and I just bought the 4 slot bridge direct from nvidia now I just have to hope I can get my hands on evga ftw3 ultra cards also the older nvlink 20 series bridges have 3 slot spacing solutions right now but they will not work the the ampere nvidia 3000 series so you have to buy a newer nvlink bridge if you plan on running 3090 sli

It might also be useful to produce a cable to support 5 slot spacing. This would allow you to put a card in the TOP and BOTTOM slot of a ASRock TRX40 Taichi mother board. This should keep the lots of air flow around the cards or allow the middle slot to be used for M.2 Raid.

That video is very lazy and misleading. Profiles are pretty easy to tweak manually.

Which other x570 Boards are 4 Slot PCIE spacing. I can never tell from looking at them. I plan to upgrade to the New 5950x and would love to SLI my 3090s

That's cool and all but SLI is disabled on RTX 3090 in any and all previous SLI titles at the driver level. Only DX12 and Vulkan game that natively support mGPU will work going forward on RTX 3090. If you want SLI to support your "huge game library" you'd be better off going RTX 2080 Ti and saving yourself $1800 on an additional RTX 3090 that will not work for what you want.

That video is very lazy and misleading. Profiles are pretty easy to tweak manually.
The problem is that 3090s can't access sli profiles at all so tweaking profiles won't work. The games have to natively support sli without help from drivers. This means that only certain dx12 and Vulkan titles that can detect and utilize multiple gpus at an api level will work.

I think Nvidia means because the card is a 3-slot card, it's too big for the other NVLink's to work. The only way you'd be able to make that happen is if you use waterblocks on at least 1 card to get it down to 2 or 3 slot to make the other links work. Another thing everyone has to remember is that you have to have the exact same 3090 card as well. The location of the connector is not standardized so it's just all messed up.

two thoughts...
1) if a card is sold with NVLink capabilities, said manufacturer should make available the appropriate NVLink bridges. considering most boards use a 3 slot style, i think it's not only lazy but unprofessional to say "we only offer a 4 slot bridge..."
2) any thoughts on where to buy the RTX A6000 NVLINK bridges? they are sold out.
i am VERY disappointed in EVGA for the handling of this. Doesn't make me want to purchase high end cards from them in the future. I have two 3090 FTW3 Ultras with the intent of putting in my main rig, because they support SLI, but EVGA doesn't want to actually support the hardware needed to make the cards they sell, work.
so.. with that said.. i guess i'll be putting one of my two cards for sale on eBay, learning from my mistake of purchasing from EVGA and not doing so any longer.
